We are not alone...so many stories
Thank you for sharing...Richard Sarah's Dad

Hi Richard. I just wanted you to know, a button I purchased a few years ago possibly saved Liam's life on Sunday. We took him to Sea World (we live near Orlando) and I put the emergency care button on him. The one that has his name and cell phone number on the back...well, we lost him at Sea World. A ride operator at Sea World saw the button, flipped it over, and called us less than two minutes after we lost sight of him. You have an amazing product. Liam was unable to tell them our names, although he did keep telling them "My name is Liam xxxxx" over and over. The ride operator said to us, I wish all people stuck these buttons on their kids, whether they have autism or not! Thanks again! Sarah
I just wrote this in honor of my son, Perry. Please share it with others.
The window to my mind is not small, covered, or locked.
The window to my heart is not barred, broken, or stuck.
The window to my soul is not tinted, cracked, or discolored.
Please look through my windows and see how beautiful it is in my world, within me.
Robin
Perry's Mom
I have our night-time prayer I'd like to share with you. It's one that I've taken and just changed the words:
Now I lay me down to sleep,
I pray the Lord that I may speak,
Guide and guard me through each day,
so that I may run, and laugh, and play.
Janice
Hi Richard,
I wanted to share my nephew Matthew's story with you.
My sister has 2 kids, 6 y/o Sarah and 3 1/2 y/o Mathew. Matthew has always
Been a beautiful child, but then again, I guess that I’m a little partial
Huh. As Matthew grew up, however he started exhibiting behaviors that were unlike that of a child his age. Matthew made sounds, but didn’t really talk (in any language that we could understand). My sister, a special education teacher, took Matt to several specialists, including an ENT, who found a 60% hearing deficit. We thought that his would alleviate the speech barrier with time...but it didn’t, not much anyway. After thorough investigation, a Little over a year ago we received an official diagnosis of autism. Our world changed. I think that, for quite some time, we all went through a period of mourning of sorts. Now, a year later, we still worry about Matt, but also take great pride in all that he has learned to do in the last year. Matt signs (thanks to my sister). There is nothing any sweeter to see than Matt sign "more please" when he gets something that he likes. He is learning more in the way of communication, and just this past weekend waved goodbye to me as I left his house. This was a first for him, and I couldn't be more honored that he picked me to wave to!
Matthew is learning in leaps and bounds, and we adore him. His smile is priceless and his hugs are golden.
Thanks so much for letting me share this story with you.
Sincerely, Polly (Matthew's Aunt)
You have some wonderful items. I hope to order more when I can. After about seven years of asking "what's wrong with my child?", my 9 year old son has just been diagnosed with autism. Now that I am reading more about it, it is so obvious--I don't know why it took so long to get the correct diagnosis. People definately need to learn more about it. Keep up the good work on your website and I hope your daughter is doing well. Thanks, Mary, Jacob's Mom
Dear Mr. Bolster, thank you for the fast shipping. I wanted to tell you that we received our car magnets yesterday and today we were stopped at a red light and an elderly man knocked on our window to ask where we got the magnet from because their grandson is autistic. So, I told him to just take it off of the truck and there is a website on the back where they can order some more magnets for their family and friends. So, now I will be ordering more magnets. Thanks for such a wonderful product. I never knew autism touched so many families until our little boy, Noah, was diagnosed this summer. God bless you. Thank you. Sincerely, Dana
Hello I ordered from you under my other email, I just want to tell you that your website brings me to tears every time I visit it but I am not sad they are tears of joy I am so happy that someone else knows what i am going thru thank you Kelly
Thanks so much ... I'm going to keep you book marked for sure! My son was just recently diagnosed a month and a half ago with mild autism and sensory integration dysfunction at 21 months. Thank you again and I’ll let you know when I get them. McKenzie
Hi Richard, I am an autism Para educator and am so glad to see you taking a stand! I love the kids I work with and I really dislike it when they are ignored or mistreated because someone doesn’t take the time to understand! Keep up the good work and I will continue to shop with you! God Bless you and Sarah, Marie
Dear Richard, I know you have patience (because your a parent of a child with Autism LOL) so I’ll let you know I forgot a pin for my dad can you please add B080 (I love my Grandson with Autism) I'm assuming the price will go up a dollar. Don't worry any more orders until Christmas okay!!!! Bye the way, I took a peek at your scrapbook on the web page. Sarah is a beautiful little girl!!! How old is she now??? I already have a bumper sticker on my car (I love someone with Autism) though, I purchased it through ARN. I have to admit, your bumper stickers look much nicer (mine is in B/W) it is so nice to see a family advocate like yours does. I'm with you, I'm so proud of our son Riley also. He is seven yrs. Old now, and was diagnosed with classical Autism at the age of two. Though, he's made a lot of gains. He has just begun to talk about 1yr. ago now!!! I love how we can appreciate every single gain. We don't take anything our children do for granted!!!! The attachment is a photo of our son, Riley. All the Best to you, & (especially Sarah) Julia, Eric & Riley
hi Richard....I received the items in the mail yesterday and left you feedback just now. Thank you so much for being so friendly and for getting the items out so fast. I posted info for your website in our EIP office and I think one of my co workers has already ordered from you. Thanks again and I am sure I will be doing business with you again in the future. Best wishes for a fun and safe Labor Day weekend. ~Donna
Thanks so much Richard I have been sharing with everybody. Tabitha :)
Thanks so much ... I'm going to keep you bookmarked for sure! My son was just recently diagnosed a month and a half ago with mild autism and sensory integration dysfunction at 21 months. Thank you again and I’ll let you know when I get them. McKenzie
I checked out your website and I am overwhelmed by the awesome buttons you have. I actually have tears in my eyes because so many of them should be worn by my autistic son. I will be back to order from your website soon. I had a question though. Can I email you a picture to put on a button and use your wording on that same button? Thanks again, Cecilia
Thank you for spreading the word. I have a 4 year old named Jacob who has Autism. He goes to the largest public school in this country devoted entirely to Autism. I will be sure to let his teachers know about your magnets and buttons!! Christina
I have a daughter who is Autistic with multiple learning disabilities. I wanted to thank you for putting together such an awesome site. I will definitely be returning for future visits and purchasing some buttons when my finances get better. I have been searching for just what you have here. Keep up the awesome work and getting the word out. Hugs, Vicki
Thanks for the message Richard. I’ll be sure to keep up with your websites. As a mother of two autistic boys (ages 3 and 5), I’m always looking for some outside motivation!!! Cheers, Susan Charlie and Henry’s Mommy (hope you don’t mind me stealing that, its wonderful!!!)
Hi Richard, I am a teacher for children with autism, not a day goes by that I do not love my job and the children I teach. They are all unique and special to me. I love my children and I hope that one day a cure will be found for this horrible disability. I also love someone, a lot of someone’s with autism. Thank you for your business. Debbie
Thanks! I am anxiously awaiting the magnets. Yes I love someone with autism too. My son Tyler age 5. It is such a mysterious illness. I have never met 2 that are the same. Thanks again! Jill
Hi Richard and Sarah, I would love to thank you for offering such a great auction at such a wonderful price. I am so excited about getting my ribbon. I will keep a check on your eBay items and more. I thank you again from my heart. Why because I love someone with autism too!!! Thomas' Mom and Dad, Isola and Jerry
Richard, God Bless You and your family, my little 5 year old son Dustin is autistic. I stay on the search all the time looking for autistic awareness products so that I have new ways of getting the word out there as to what path we as parents and our children who have fallen prey to this disorder must walk each and every day. I can't tell you how much my life has changed, but the change has not all been bad. I have a new way of looking at life. I now cherish the small things in this world. For every little word that escapes my child’s mouth is a God given blessing, a blessing that we have taken for granted for way too long. I have been stared at, ridiculed, talked about, need I say more? You know. You know how times you just want to turn into a raging bull and plow through the people who make you feel like you are less of a parent because they don't understand and are uneducated to the effects that autism has on our children. Because Dusty, just like Sarah looks just like your normal everyday beautiful child. I, like every other parent of an autistic child want the world to know what Autism is, I want them to be aware that it is just as important to find answers to this disorder as any other and how to deal with and respect the feelings of these children and their love ones in the mean time. I praise your efforts and thank you for them. I really believe our children are angels. God sent them to us for a purpose. There is no denying the fact that we are different people than we use to be. I am a better person. I've learned respect, care, compassion and love like I’ve never known. I thank God for a gift of sight and heart felt feeling I never would've known if it weren't for Dusty. I'm beginning to get involved with The Bubel/Aiken Foundation. Clay Aiken (another angel sent from God) has formed a foundation to help children with developmental disabilities live a more normal life. A life that should be lived to it's fullest no matter what the cost. I want my life to have meaning, I want to help in any way I can to make our children live a happy, fulfilling life. Once again thank you, I'm sure everything will arrive just fine. I'll e-mail you when it gets here. Before I go I have to ask you this.... Do you ever have times when you just know that your child knows a whole lot more than she lets on? I always say... Autism is not a disorder it's an excuse for our little rugrats to be as rotten as they want to be. HA HA. God bless their little hearts, everything they do rotten, or not is just so cute to us. I know every word Dusty says even the bad ones makes us want to jump out of our skins for joy. Well I'm going to go before I burn up all your computer time. Tasha
Thanks so much for this offer! I'll let my son's school know where I obtained these from - you may get a run on them (my son is almost 14, and thankfully, high function).
Hi Richard thanks for the update. I'll let you know when I receive my items. I ordered extras so that I can pass them out. I will definitely keep your website address and pass it on to my family and friends. Thanks so much for offering the items you have! I think it's a wonderful way to get the message out. God Bless you, Sarah and your family. Ann
Again, thank you much! I keep finding all these things that you have! I had been to you website before I knew you sold on eBay and I have been wanting these pins a LONG time! I was so worried the other day when we went to a street fair/parade. There were so many people and loosing sight of him for even one second made my heart race. I hope that if he ever does stray off from me, God forbid, that these will help. Christina
Hi again, I wanted to let you know that my local Autism Chapter received the magnets and are VERY pleased!! We've had people paged over the intercom in stores inquiring about the magnet on a car.. So definitely a HUGE tool in Autism Awareness!! One thing I was wondering is if you are able to make bigger magnets. I am a consultant with Discovery Toys and needed a square/rectangle magnet sign for my car door. If you could make something like that, I would love to buy it from you. If you can, let me know what kind of price I would be looking at or if not, if you know of where I could purchase one. I appreciate any information regarding this. Thanks again!!
Dear Richard, Please share these photos of Colton with Sara. Tell Sara she has friends in Texas. Colton is 10 and is making some progress with the help of Shorkey Rehabilitation Center where he goes after public school each day. Shorkey was originally the Cerebral Palsy Rehab Center, but has expanded to treat all disabilities, not just physical limitations. Colton's autism has limited his communication with others and we are trying to enhance that. I have told him about our Autism Awareness buttons and how they came from Massachusetts where Sara lives. We found Massachusetts on the map and I told him how Sara's dad makes the buttons and that you and Sara are our new friends and that our friendship came about from sharing our passion for learning all we can about autism and how to help everyone with challenges. Colton has thrived in his Life Skills class. We hope he may some day learn to read by memorizing words. The public school curriculum has changed a bit this year because of the new federal law, No Child Left Behind. We are looking forward to all able children to get better acquainted with those with challenges and disabilities. Although Colton is nowhere close to being mainstreamed into a classroom with children his age and may never be, I do hope it will help remove some of the unintentional barriers that keep the able children and disabled children from getting to know each other better at school. All children are the same even if some are different. They all want to be loved and have friends. Please give Sarah our love and we wish her a wonderful new school year. Karen and Colton
Thanks.... I read all the pins...I will order some in the near future...you really have some good ones. One saying that I like but didn't see on your list was: Autism is on the rise...If you don't know someone with Autism....You will! I have been thinking of getting a license plate frame that says this. I will let you know when I receive my car magnets... Thanks again! Dawn
Richard, Thank you so much for responding and for getting my order ready so promptly. I have been an advocate for autism awareness, inclusion, understanding and research for many years now. My dear sweet cousin Brandon (now age 11) opened my eyes to the many facets of autism. I worked with Brandon and others in his class providing respite and community inclusion for three summers while I was in college. That remains to this day the most fulfilling job I have ever had. I also have a much younger brother with Down syndrome. Both of these precious little boys have brought so much joy to our family and I have made it my life's mission to make sure that society in general sees them as the loving people that they are and not just a "disabled" person. I thank you for the services that you provide and I look so forward to receiving my awareness ribbon and putting it on my car. Thanks so much, Ashley
Tears of a Father Bob Maier I feel so confused, hurt and utterly sad. The child that I thought was mine is gone. I want to cry. Cry for the child who will never ask, "Why?" "Why do the leaves turn red in the autumn?" "Why do I have to go to bed right now?" "Why are you crying, Daddy?" Son, what will you be when you grow up? I once thought you’d be a zoologist, traveling to exotic places, studying the rare and wonderful animals you’ve always loved. When you were less than a year old, sitting motionless, listening to mommy’s choir sing, I dreamt that someday you would be a creator of beautiful music. My child has been taken from me! But that can’t be? He’s here with me now. He hasn’t changed. Yet still, I feel as though he’s gone. My child has somehow died. The child of my dreams and hopes is no more. I know that these feelings are normal and helpful, that I shouldn’t feel guilty for having them. All the experts tell me this. But it doesn’t help the pain. Things are getting better though. The funeral for the child of expectations is over now. Oh, I still visit the cemetery from time-to-time. I put Cub Scout caps and grade-school science projects at his grave. But I don’t spend so much time there anymore. I have another son to love. The one they call "autistic." He’s such a sweet boy. He’s never mean to anyone, and he squeezes so tight when he hugs me. He loves to dance with his daddy, and he gets such a cute smile on his face when he say, "I did it!" He’s still the same boy who loves monkeys, Peter Pan, kiwi fruit and throwing rocks in the water. I’m learning to love my new son, and he has always loved me. Bob
Hi. My name is Sarah too. I am a school psychologist that specializes in autism. I wish you and your beautiful daughter the very best
Hi. Thanks for the e-mail back. I am not sure where you live but I have developed a book for the high school transition stage. In fact, through experience, when Sarah is 14 or so, that's when the planning should begin. I do not mean to pry but does Sarah receive services? That's important. If she has an I.E.P. for school, then you should have a better idea of where she will be (academically) in high school. Work on the can do's rather than the can not's. That's what I did with Rob. I hope you do not mind if I send you e-mail once in a while. I can mail you pictures too (if you'd like). I'm not fluent in scanning/sending pictures but I can regular mail them. Is your address on the site? I am a strong advocate and I believe that awareness is an ongoing thing. It is nice to see such a dedicated parent. Thanks for all you do, too! Have a super day! -- Cindy
Hi Richard One of the teachers at my son’s school had one on her car and I had never seen them before. I was so excited and couldn't wait to get them for my own family. We are doing our best to get awareness out there also. Thanks again. Stephanie Lucas' Mom
Teachers love the autism awareness things and I get a kick out of seeing who is wearing the lapel pins on their school badges! Did you hear the story about the man who had a autism awareness poster in his cubicle? Someone at work stopped and whispered in his ear….”I didn’t know you were gay…” Ha! I guess it’s the rainbow colors.
Thank you very much. I have worked with children with Autism and have realized how special these precious children are!
Thank you.... I cant wait to put in on my van... My daughter has autism... I also have 2 other children besides her.. And am always looking at different items related to autism... Thanks. Rachel
Hello! I bought some buttons, keychains..etc. A while back. I never sent a follow up to say how wonderful they were! My husband, mom, and my dad all wear our keychains and buttons proudly. I put my bumper sticker on my car as well. I think it is awesome how you are promoting awareness. My son is autistic and my husband and I went to a two day conference this past week. We got the privilege of seeing Dr. Temple Grandin speak. After her portion of the seminar was over we got to have an answer question with her in the lobby and I gave her a magnet and keychain that I bought from you. Just wanted to let you know that I'm passing on your website to anyone who asks and I'm wearing my button proudly! Thanks again, Shannon
Richard, Hi, yesterday I received the magnets, and let me tell you, my wife and I are very happy with them. Thanks for your fast shipment. I also have a love one with autism, my son Diego (today is his 5th birthday) and I will be sending people to your website. Thanks. Jose
I received the items in the mail yesterday, thank you for being so prompt. I have a friend who has an autistic son as well and she wants to order some things. It gave her goose bumps and the hair stood up on her arm when she read the business sized cards that help in uncomfortable situations that we have all found ourselves in with our children. I can't wait to start handing mine out!! My oldest son wore his button to school today he says he wants to wear it everyday to show people how much he loves his brother. Zach is eight, Dusty is five (my autistic child). Please keep my e-mail on hand, keep me informed on new things, and as I know how this helps having an autistic child, if you ever just need someone to talk to who knows what you are going through, feel free to drop a letter by. The more friends you have the better, I like to say. Thank you so much, Tasha
I got the buttons today! Thanks so much! They truly are a godsend!!!! I loved the other items u offer as well. I will be ordering several items. Also, thank you for the touching story. It could not have come at a better time. I have been rather down lately and it just really helped. Sincerely, Amy Zane's Mommy
Dear Richard, I received my button in the mail today. I really liked the article that was included, about the holidays. My son has autism and a lot of the comments are very similar of what he does. He does the stimming , he shakes strings, or a doll head, called Betty Spagetty. He is improving a lot over time. He has been in a special needs class at our public school system, with therapies, Speech, Occupational, Adapted Phys. Ed, and horse therapy once a week in the evening. We are also looking into music therapy for him during the school day. I have twins, Shawn (who has autism), and Allison (daughter) who is typical with no disabilities. They were premature at 30 weeks. Shawn was not breathing at birth, and was in the hospital for a month. He was diagnosed at age 5 with, Autism Spectrum Disorder. He does like to be held and hugged which is different that most kids with Autism. The doctor originally thought he did not have autism since he liked to be hugged. When had further evaluations at Children's Hospital at Columbus, Ohio, I will send a photo too. Ladonna
I just received the magnets in the mail. They are beautiful!! I have a son, Patrick who is 3 yrs old, who has autism. I am very proud to have the ribbon on my van, and I hope to make other drivers aware of Autism. Thank you so much!! Suzanne
Hi Richard, It was funny a friend of mine with an Autistic daughter saw one of your magnets on a car and left a note on their windshield she then called and left your email. Thus it has circulated and now our little group will all have one. I have a 9 year old autistic son 180 lbs and 5 ft 4 so a big one. Also non-verbal, he can be quite a challenge as you know. I do have a question, on your website it states buy 3 get one free, I ordered 3 so do I get one free or should I have ordered 4? I am going to ask my sons teachers and aides if they would like one for their cars....so more to be purchased more likely. I'm so glad we found your website. Someone gave me a pin last year, and it looks like one of the ones you have on your site. Thanks for helping spread the word. Susan
Richard, Sounds like Sarah has one pretty awesome Dad!!! I commend you for your efforts and determination! I look forward to receiving the magnets and I’ll let you know when they arrive. I am an Occupational Therapist in CT and I have many children with Autism whom which I love. They put a smile on my face daily. Each child is unique and full of surprises! I wish you and your family all the best of luck in everything you do! Christine
Richard, Thank you for such an easy purchase despite my paypal error. My son Jasen is 2 and is Autistic. He doesn't talk yet but we're working on it. I think that the way the parents of these kids are rallying to get the awareness out there is pretty incredible. It's so discouraging when strangers, Doctors, therapists. Etc... Dismiss the parents and children because they don't fit the stereotype. They assume that because he doesn't sit by himself and rock compulsively that he must not be Autistic. I appreciate people like you that are selling items for the public to see everyday. I will continue to be one of your buyers. Good luck with your daughter. She's very lucky to have such a caring father. Kelly
Richard, Thank you for your reply. Does your daughter stay awake at night? Our son use to go to bed, then wake up at all hours of the night, and stay up and play. We have tried melatonin and it helps. Melatonin is an herbal sleep aid. I just wondered. Ladonna
Dear Richard- I think your products are great and we too are very interested in promoting Autism awareness in our community. I have ordered your items to do just that. Thank you for your enormous contribution to the cause. We will frequently check to see what new items you have. By the way I am Dave's wife Leanna (Levi's Mom)
Dear Richard: I have an internet support group for parents/loved ones of children with high functioning autism. If it's okay, I'd like to advertise your site on the start page. If you're interested in visiting, it's at: http://forums.delphiforums.com/hfasd I couldn't believe I found the autism awareness magnet! Please let me know if I can post a link. Thanks again, Caroline
Hi Richard! Thanks so much for the speedy processing! I had hoped to get the magnets for our Sept. 30 support group meeting. I think they're going to be a big hit, so I'm sure we'll be ordering more! I'm also thinking we'll order the Autism Walk buttons for our April Walk. So glad I found you! Hope to do lots of business together!! Eve o Tommy's Mom
Richard Thanks so much for the terrific products that you sell. Making people aware is so important! I am in the process of getting a not-for-profit foundation up and running. My goal is to build a center that would support and provide services for children on the spectrum along with their families. Our 3 year old son has autism and we spend more time driving him around in a car to all his different therapies than anything else. I would like to have a center than can offer all of these needed services in one place, provide support and education to families, and possibly even provide a center for research. Where do you live?? Do you know of any such center already in existence? Thanks for any input or knowledge you may have! Elyse
Hi Richard, thanks for the update. I'll let you know when I receive my items. I ordered extras so that I can pass them out. I will definitely keep your website address and pass it on to my family and friends. Thanks so much for offering the items you have! I think it's a wonderful way to get the message out. God Bless you, Sarah and your family. Ann
Richard Thanks for providing this service. I was looking for something just like the button I bought because I to love someone with Autism, my 3 year old son Travis. I will do my part to help increase the awareness of this puzzling illness so someday we may find a cure. I have been doing a lot of praying regarding how to handle this and God is really been helping me deal with it. I'll keep in touch it's nice to speak to someone who is in the same boat. Have you tried the Gluten Free/ Casein Free diet yet? I just started it with Travis and it's only been about 2 weeks but I can already notice slight improvements so for me it’s been worth it. Good Luck!!!!! Tammy
Richard Thanks so much for the quick turn around. It is nice to see someone willing to provide awareness to the community. I am a Direct Support Professional. I work 1:1 (one on one) with a 25 yr. Old gentleman with Autism. We have been a "team" since January of 1999. We are truly friends. I work strictly for the family but the company I represent is the financial source. I used to work in a day program but found the 1:1 more of a reward. My boyfriend's daughter is 18 and she is Autistic. The level of her Autism is a bit different from my friend's. I was a Job Placement Specialist for individuals with disabilities. Community awareness is what I like to do. Forget the stereotypes. I help people "see" that a disability is not catchy, debilitating or whatever negativity they know. Anyway, I will definitely be visiting your site and make purchases here and there. I wish I could buy everything you have but Human Services doesn't pay much. Thanks for all you do! Cindy
Hello Mr. Bolster: I received my order today and everything was better than what I expected. The quality of the items is excellent. I showed my wife your website and she can’t wait to order more stuff. Thank you very much and I will be in touch soon. Keep up the wonderful job that you are doing. You asked me if I had a message that I can pass along, and I will like to forward to you a piece from a booklet I have. I didn't write it, but I hope you can relate to it, like I can. Sincerely, Horacio
Hello Richard It's been a pleasure doing business with you. I am really looking forward to receiving our package in the mail. I have a few ASD support sites I own and have your 'Buttons and More' site in our links section. It has been a real hit. Many of our members frequent your site. Could I put in a link to your eBay items as well? Thank you for all you have done to spread awareness about Autism. :):) As a mother of a young son with ASD I sincerely appreciate your efforts. I will email you when our package arrives. Thank you again! Warmest Regards, Lynda
Richard Thanks for your emails. I received my package today with the buttons, and stuff that I ordered. I appreciate your email; I am glad that your daughter does sleep well. We have been thru a lot of sleepless nights, my husband, and I taking turns up with Shawn. But, he is doing much better, and even going to bed on his own, now. We keep him busy, and he jumps on the trampoline a lot. Then, he sleeps better at night. Ladonna
Hi Richard!
No, I don't have a message to share. But I want you to know that I admire
What you are doing to eliminate stigma and make people aware.
This journey has taken me down so many paths -- I would never have imagined
I'd be where I am today. My son was originally diagnosed with severe ADHD,
Then Tourette Syndrome, then bipolar disorder (bpd), anxiety disorder,
OCD, ----now it's just Asperger's, bpd, and Tourette. The diagnoses don't
Really seem as important to me these days -- but Asperger's certainly fits
The bill best! I'm focused on just getting him the services he needs. He's
Doing very well now but we've been through 15 inpatient psych
Hospitalizations, two partial day programs, and a residential setting, all
In the past six years. I've become an active parent advocate in the local, state, and national arenas.
Cannot wait to get and use the magnets! I'm giving some of them to friends
Who have kids like ours and I may be back for more of those and other things
You have for sale.
---good luck and good wishes, Richard!
Pam
I am a teacher in a autistic class! What a great thing that you are doing! I wish you the best. I might be interested in more, would that be possible too?
Hi,
I also have a child with autism. He's 16 now and doing exceptionally well. Thank you for making this available. I've told every parent I know that lives w/autism about this. This is my second one.
Hi Richard,
Well I love the buttons I sat there and cried as I read through them so I just ordered a ton....I will let you know when they get here. Thanks for the quick service. Of course we will think of Sarah as we walk. I have ordered from you in the past as well. If anyone asks I will let them know where to get the buttons.
Thanks Again,
Courtney
Hi Richard,

Mary (Riley’s Grammy)
I have 3 year old boy and girl twins who both have autism - we appreciate your efforts!
Richard,
I received my items early this week and am very pleased with them. I am so happy with them that I am going to approach the board of our local Autism society chapter about using them as speaker gifts for an upcoming conference in our town.
Thank you,
Amy
Hi, Thanks for selling these ribbons. I am giving them away free to the people that have been helping us, teachers, ots, bts, Doctors, Family, Educator and friends and relatives etc... Thanks so much for providing free shipping it really helps me to help spread the word. I'm sure you understand. Thanks again,
Susan
Richard,
The products arrived today and they are awesome. I had ordered car
Magnets from you before through eBay about 6 months ago and I find it
Very convenient that you have a direct website available to purchase products
and thank you for the quick shipping! My family and I are participating
In WALK NOW San Francisco on October 24th (benefiting CAN) and we will all be able to wear our buttons at the event.
Thanks again,

Everything arrived perfect! Again, I can't thank you enough. Everything
Looks great! My truck is a moving billboard now, but hey that's what we
Want. We want to spread the word, right?
Take care.

Richard,
Thank you so much for these items. Everyone LOVES them.
I am looking for something that says "I sponsor a child with autism".
For those who donate to our family, any ideas?
Thanks,
Kristi
Thank you very much! I truly admire anyone who deals with Autism on a daily basis as I do. Thank you for making all of these items available for a great price. I try to order something every month since we are on a fixed budget, anything extra goes for Joshua's education and therapy, so this great we can get these items for a great price and for a great cause!
Thanks again.
God bless you and your daughter!
Sam & Marisol.
Joshua's Parents.
Thank you Richard. I have been checking out your items for awhile now but
Have yet to purchase any until today. I'm sure I will be pleased and will
Order more for family to use as well. Jakob has yet to be officially
Diagnosed (he just turned two and doesn't fit the "typical" autistic
Characteristics) his biggest issue that I see is that he doesn't talk,
Gesture or stay focused very long, he also has some hand flapping but
Everyone seems to target that to his sensory issues (which I know most if
Not all children have) he dose communicate in his own way but only I really
Know what he wants. He is also VERY behind in following simple (and I mean
Simple) commands but is starting to master making choices from 2-3 items.
Sorry to go on and on I just wanted to thank you for your services and say
It is nice to see a father so involved. God bless you and your family.
Best wishes,
Kari
Thanks for making your items available and for the quick shipment and fair pricing. Our 4 yr old grandson Laramie is Autistic. We appreciate your help in educating the public about our kids.
God bless you and your daughter! Wing1994
Yes, we share a love and hope for a cure for a few dear little children with autism too.
One of our daughters is an Instructional Helper for a little boy who has autism.
She works with him one on one at A special needs school. She also helps a couple of the
Mom's there with their children when they need a babysitter or as and extra hand on outings. She is the one who asked me to get the magnet for her car.
Our other daughter is a third grade teacher. During the
School year, but during the summer she works with autistic children as the director of a camp for special needs children.
I will pass your website on to them both. Best of luck in
Your mission!
Debbie

Hi. I have a 21-year-old daughter who is severely autistic and a son age 18 with Fragile x syndrome. My daughter now lives in a developmental center where she is less violent and self abusive and has a full and productive life. I love your product line and will buy more as I can. I ordered 4 of something that was buying 3 get one free. I hope that means I will receive 5. Thank you again. For the individuals on the severe end of the spectrum, this disability has been around a long time. As therapy and other things happen for those of a higher level of functioning we must always remember that for those who do not "recover" and even those who "regress" we must have a level of care available to them that does not destroy families. I would love to hear your experiences that lead you to this work. Robin, Bloomfield New Jersey
The uniqueness of our children is the key to their success. I know what makes my child tick. She loves and needs lots of physical activity to keep her under control. She also needs the predictability of her environment and those around her. That is where she can relax and not live under the anxiety that plaques her. She is nonverbal but we all know what she wants and when. She has a strong will and strong body. She is beautiful as well and that is what has helped in finding people willing to take a few lumps at her hands and still love and want to help her. When she smiles the word is hers. She loves music and has changed her tastes from Disney to Gloria Estefan to Shania Twain and MTV. It is good to recognize that as soon as we figure out our kids they change. Our children have autism, they are not autistic children and they will always have our traits, mannerisms and personalities. We unlock these puzzles one at a time and no two are the same. Please stay in touch. Robin
Dear fatherfun,
Hi,

Thank you for your quick response! I'm a Speech Language Pathologist for children with autism, and I always have parents requesting pins, stickers, etc. I'm going to pass on your ordering information to my office because awareness is the key. I love wearing my "I love someone with autism" because people always ask questions about it. It's a small step, but steps turn into leaps, leaps into strides, and sooner than you know it you've made it over the hurdle =)
Sincerely,
Janelle

Hi, Richard, Incredible website! Wonderful collection that is by turns inspiring and tear-provoking. Thanks Wishing you the best, La Donna
thank you.
I have a nephew who is gifted with autism.
I say gifted because he has brought many gifts to the family, such as
love and compassion. he has brought an awareness of how innocent we
all are and how we should be.
he is real and a joy to be around.
I will send this email to my sister Patricia, His mother.
thanks again
Richard,
I just wanted to thank you for my order. I did receive it on Saturday. Sorry I am just letting you know. I love everything. I will defiently be ordering more from you in the future, and I will keep you and your daughter in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks again for the beautiful WORK! Thanks- Jodi
Hi Richard,
Thank you, yes, our 10yr old son is severely autistic. We feel he was vaccine injured. I would like to see more messages about vaccine safety & parental choice! The pharmaceutical companies have blood on their hands as far as we're concerned. I look forward to receiving the ribbons. More people need to pay attention to this.
Best to you,
Michele
Thanks so much ! Oliver is three - we are going to the zoo at the end of the month and the pin will put my mind at ease just a little bit. We have made our own laminated notes when at Disney with ALL of our children, not just Oliver, because they all tend to wander .... but without speech, its a little scarier! And the cards will be great for giving to those sourpuss old ladies who tell him to be quiet in the grocery store! Thanks for a great service! I'll pay through Paypal a.s.a.p. (before it goes down again!) =) Wendy
I tried to reply from home but not sure it worked. Anyway thank you so much for keeping the price so reasonable. Our Parent Support group went in on these ribbons and are extrmemly happy with the cost and design. Thanks Liz
Richard, I received the ribbons today, Oct 15th. My daughter has two autistic boys, 9 and 6, so I am on a mission as well, for a cure. Take Care Sharon
Our son was just diagnosed (formally) with Autism on Wednesday. I really look forward to receiving these! Thanks, Dani
Richard, Hi, I received my order today. Thank you so much for providing your great Autism awareness items. I am the mother of a 6 year old son who has autism. He is such a great kid who is an example of the many faces of autism. He is a lovable little guy who has proven that people with autism are not always like what's in a textbook. Thank you again, and I WILL share your website with others who also love someone with autism. Ivette
Hello, Richard! I am so glad that I ordered from you rather than one of those websites that are just out for a profit with no specific cause! I can't wait to get my merchandise!!!!! So many people are unaware of autism. Honestly, I wasn't sure just what it was until March of this year when my, then, 2 1/2 year old son started speech & occupational therapies. Now, 3 years old, Tyler, is attending a special needs preschool class to hopefully get him ready for "real school". We don't have a definite diagnosis for him yet, but we should within two months, after a series of neurology/psychology appointments. His pediatrcian is 99.5% sure that he has high functioning autism. Thanks so much for allowing us to order the items that will help us to get the word out to others who don't know what's going on in our family! I'll let you know when I get the package! Thanks again, Bergen
Thank You! My nephew was recently diagnosed. Praying for the day there will be a cure and he will be able to converse with me. I'm a strong supporter for the National Alliance for Autism Research. Good Luck! MJ
Great - thank you so much. I am a teacher of children with autism and I am purchasing the magnets for my staff and I to spread awareness everywhere we go. Thanks again. I will email and leave feedback on ebay as soon as the magnets arrive. THANKS!! Jamie

Hi Richard- I am so glad to have purchased from you. Thanks so much. I am a college student majoring in Elementary Ed and minor in Special Ed. I currently work with Will, a 3 1/2 year old, who has autism. I started working with Will, using Applied Behavior and Verbal Analysis (Dr. Vincent Carbone's preferred method) in June 2004. He has come along way and his family and all those around him fully anticipate for him to make a full recovery from autism and can one day be classified as a neuro-typical child. He is precious to me and I love spending time with him. Anyway, thank you and I will boast my car ribbon with pride and I will be checking out your website. Thanks again, Stephanie (Stephy as tacted by Will)

I am mother to Chase, who is 9 years of age, and is on the severe end of the spectrum. Chase has escaped several times before, believe it or not from school, so the badge is an excellent item for him to have. As you know as a parent we are always fighting to achieve the best for these special children and it is encouraging to hear from a parent like yourself. I will reccomend the badges at school and support groups, so hopefully I will get some sales for you. The badge is a great idea! I am looking forward to viewing your other items, so I will go and have a look. Thanks once again and please stay in touch. You possibly have some great educational tips as well, America is far more advanced with Autism than Britain. regards Debi.
This is my 7th year working with children on the autistic spectrum. The children I work with range from ages 16 months to 5 years of age (in their home). You will be hearing from me again! thanx Lisa (BCABA!)

Richard, thanks -- our son Andrew has autism and my husband, Richard, and I, spend almost all our time raising money for his school -- we'll use these magnets as a mini-fund raiser, plus to increase awareness. Something tells me I'll be submitting another order soon -- thanks for all you do! -- Pam
Thank you so much for doing this, until my grandson was diagnosed in June, I was not aware of what an epidemic this has become, he just turned 2 in Oct., so at least he is starting therapy early, but I know even that is no guarantee. We already see some progress so it keeps us hopeful, and we will fight for him to get the proper treatment. But more importantly, we will love him more and more each day. Thanks again, Joan George
Hello got the magnets and they are great and now adorning the cars of me, my husband and our parents. thanks for the good work!! Christy

Richard, Thank You so so much, I really appreciate all that you do. Your help is going to make this community project successful. Thank you once again. Thank You Edna
My wife and I were looking for autism awareness car magnets, as our 3-year-old son is diagnosed with PDD, and our 21-month old son is developmentally delayed, with a possible PDD diagnosis coming. I wanted to order the magnets from an organization that would benefit autism, or at least have a direct connection with autism, rather than simply buying them from a company selling nothing more than a product. The buy 3 get 1 free was also much appreciated -- one for my wife's minivan, one for my truck, and one each for the boys' grandparents. Thank you, Bill
Hello Richard, I just wanted to say thank you for this auction. I also have a daughter with autism. She is 8 years old and will be 9 on the 9th of December. She is my pride and joy. I also purchased alot of buttons from your web site and am looking forward to receiving them. Once again thank you and I wish only the best for you and your family. Kristie
Thank you! I am a therapist and love to help out in any way possible! Thanks! Shawna
Thank you for providing a service that is rare. Our family has the hardest time finding any type of support ribbons, buttons etc... so keep other people aware that this is something that needs support and a cure some day in the future. I really appreciate your time and effort. My family will love them. I am surprising them with the magnets. They just have not been able to find any. Thank you again. Kimberly
Hi Richard, I received my items today. Everything looks great!! Thank you so much for the wonderful service and great items! I can't wait to give them to my family members, they will love them, too! Wendy Exner
Richard, Hello! Your very welcome.I am going to use one and send one to my sister. She has a son with Autisum. The light of our life. He is 12 years old and non-verbal with a lot of emotion issues. It is all so sad. Kim, Alec's Aunt
You are very welcome. I have ordered an "I love someone with Autism, with my son's name on it from you in the past. My son is also Autistic, 8 years old. Thank you, I am so happy to see that you are selling the magnets for the cars! I wanted one so badly and I haven't seen them anywhere besides your auctions. You have very nice items for Autism Awareness. Thanks again,Vicki
Hi Richard, I have an autistic grandson. He is an adorable red-headed seven year old. I waited a long time just to hear him call me "Granny". It has been a struggle as I'm sure you understand, but he has finished Kindergarten and is now in first grade. I don't know what the future holds for him, but I do know that it will be better because of people like you, who work to make sure others are aware of autism. I'm constantly amazed at the number of people who tell me that they have never heard of it. Thank you so much for providing this service. I will recommend your website to others. I will also let you know when the magnets arrive. Thank you again and God Bless You. Marie
Hi, I just want to let you know that I think it is great, what you are doing. I work at a place called ARC Kidstart, where there are many different disabilities. But I work directly with autistic children, right now I am potty training a 4 year old, it is hard work, I love all the kids to death! I know that my agency would be more than happy to see what you are doing, and me and all my parents thank you! I was wondering if it was okay with you that I shared your website with a few of my coworkers and parents, please let me know. Thanks again, LuAnn

Thanks so much.. I just wanted to let you know the buttons were a success and helped us to raise $2,800.00! Thanks again. Bernadette
Hi Richard, I loved your website. A parent posted the address on our Yahoo group for Arizona parents of ASD kids. Our Johnny, 2 1/2 years, was just diagnosed with autism in May. We have been using the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center (SARRC) in Phoenix to help us understand the disorder and get Johnny's therapies underway. SARRC is terrific and we're feeling quite optimistic at the moment and happy with the progress Johnny is making with his ABA, occupational, and speech therapists. We've also been seeing a DAN! doctor for all of the latest biomedical stuff and are about to try Dr. Buttar's transdermal DMPS chelation. Have you chelated Sarah? We were about to start IV chelation, then our doctor became aware of Dr. Buttar's new transdermal method which he is claiming amazing results with. The autism community in Phoenix is all abuzz with talk of it. I don't know where you live, but I was wondering how other communities are reacting to the Buttar claims, or if you've heard about them. Thanks so much for your terrific website. We've got two sets of grandparents who have been developing activist tendencies ever since their grandson was diagnosed, so I'm sure they will be visiting your site soon. Good luck with Sarah; I hope she is doing great! - Kim
Thank you for providing us with these buttons and other Autism related items. I have a brother who is Autistic and he is my world. He's number one in my book and always will be. I owe a lot to him. He is the one who made me choose my path in life. I'm very proud to say that I have a brother who has Autism and he means the world to me. He always makes me smile and he is the one person in my life who will love me unconditionally no matter what I do. Thank you again! Hopefully there will be a cure one day, thanks to supporters like you! Diana
Thanks I have an Autistic son also,Christopher..I'm buying these to replace two other ones I got from you that were stolen off my car..Some people are ruthless.. Thanks Jim

Richard ---Thank you for you fast service -- Another wonderful way to spread Autism Awareness. Amy - Shawn's Mom
tony is 3 years old and just got his dx 3 weeks ago its nice to know we are not alone. thanks again..
If we had the time, I am sure each of us could write a book about how life has changed since we have been directly affected by autism.
One thing seems to stand out to me. Since Michael is "functionally non-verbal," communication is unique. We can cover up who we are by saying the right things and what people want to hear. Many times, when I am with Michael, we can just look in each other's eyes and speak volumes. If I want to know Michael, I have to take time and really look and listen to his every move and sound. What I have discovered is an extremely loving and caring young man. He is fun and kind, and has so much inside. In his life, there aren't even a handful of people who really take the time to listen. He is almost thirteen, and just in the last several months, he has finally had a good experience with most of the ones who deal professionally with him, ie, doctor, dentist, and especially in the classroom.
Knowing Michael is a goldmine. It is an adventure. It stretches a person's patience into shape and forces you to stop and enjoy the simple things in life.
What I hope to accomplish with the autism awareness ribbon is twofold. First, I want to make aware those who don't have a clue. Perhaps the ribbon will bring someone to question its purpose. The other reason is to reach out to others who love someone with autism. The ribbon may let them know that perhaps I understand, and that they can share their pain, frustratons, and unique experiences. Perhaps I can bring them a ray of hope or some encouragement. I am not a person who likes to be in the spotlight, and was actually hoping to find the smaller ribbons, but alas, none could be found.
Sorry, I can get carried away when I get on the subject that occupies much of my thought and prayer life!!
God bless you, and Thanks. pat
Thank you for the site and the buttons. We are fairly new to all of this as my 2.5 year old was just diagnosed with ASD in June. Again, thanks
Richard, Thanks for your prompt e-mail. I appreciate you getting the things out so fast, I have company coming this week and I'm hoping they will be able to leave with some things. We have a severely autistic . God Bless Juliann
I have ordered buttons and magnets from you before and really love them. That was back when it was just my daughter with autism..now we have recently discovered my son too is autistic. I have seen many pictures of your daughter Sarah on the buttons that you sell, just recently I got to see the picture of her holding the banner on your site. She has grown so much!! She is a young lady now :) Is it harder at this age dealing with autism or does it ever get easier?? thanks for listening and I wish you and Sarah the best, Bree
I am a single mom of three beautiful children (11months, 5 and 6) My 6yr old son has Autism and my baby reminds me a lot of my oldest son. I am also going to school to get my PhD in Psychology..my son was given to me for a reason, he has changed my life for the better...I HATE when people say they are sorry...I'm not..and I never feel sorry..just helpless and more so than the average parent to an average child. Things are harder, different but we adapt..My son has enlightened me, made me less ignorant to the word and I hope to WAKE others up as well. Autism is Autism no matter where on the spectrum, it's not going away, and the more people informed and aware, the better my sons life will be, as well as others. Now that I have written a novel (sorry)..Thanks again..these magnets and pens are for myself and all my son's line therapists. I might order more down the road as well...Take care. and good luck in your cause as well. It's nice to see a concerned, loving and passionate father for a change. Take care. Jamielynn
Hi Richard Thank you for providing this service. I liked your website very much. I am a mother of an 8 year old Autistic son, Austin. He is a wonderful child very loving and sweet. He is non verbal and severly autistic. But I think it's important for people to know that just because our children our different, doesn't mean that thy're not great people to know. And I think that your website offers many great ideas of getting that message out to people. Again, thank you very much for this. And I couldn't believe the package arrived so quickly. Thanks. Pam
I work for a Mental Health Center (specifically with kids). In the past I have worked with kids who have many different issues. Right now, all of the kids I work with are diagnosed with Autism. They are absolutely, positively, my favorite kids to work with! As you know, there is just something about them.......Thank you for letting me know about your web-site. Hope everything is well with your daughter. Heather
Richard, I am a Mom of an Autistic 14 year old boy, also a sweet, kind child, a blessing. I was thinking of a bumper sticker that say's (Proud Parent of a child with Autism) like those bumper sticker's that say "Proud parent of an honor student,etc.. I just thought it would be cute. Thank you for all the work you are putting in on Autism Awareness, I used to work hard at it too, I was just a little burnt out for awhile. I would like to help in anyway I can. God Bless. Linda (Alex and Megan's Mom)
You seem to really be involved with your daughters life. That is great. I am a preschool teacher for children with autism. I work for a center based program in detroit, mi and absolutely love it! Good luck! Alison
Thanks Richard. It is always comforting to hear from parents who have a child or children that suffers from Autism. My son Hayden is 5 and doing well in home based therapy. My 2 1/2 year old son, Matthew, is autistic. God bless you for the work you are doing to get the message out. Sarah is a very lucky little girl! Deb
I purchased one for myself and one for a wonderful friend who just found out that her 3 year old neice has Autism. I am a mother of 4 myself and as many ribbons that we see every day (and some that are on our own cars) this one comes close to heart. She is still going thru the testing process and her little sisters' results will be in in 4 weeks. This family is beautiful and so is this little girl and I want others out there to notice and realize that this is out there and that there needs to be more awareness by others. I passed on the information to my friend and her family and we will all show or ribbons with pride and we thank you for having a wonderful site and a wonderful heart to allow friends and familys like us to support our loved ones. I will always keep your site in my favorites and I will be in touch soon. Have a wonderful holiday season and God Bless.
Thank you sincerely, My wife and I have been searching for a website that offers something more. I have already forwarded the site address to many of our friends and family members. Most of all you have some very valuable links to sites that offer some real value. We will definately share our message on your website.
thank you so much! I am the Mom of Adam, who is 21 yrs old, and has Autism. I think your website and your service is great ! I'm sure I'll buy more item from your website in the future. I'll leave you a positive feedback soon. Thanks Again.. Carol :-)
I'm a father of an autistic child too, and Jake is all my happiness in the world!
Thanks so much for helping our organization with our fundraiser! You had so many wonderful items on your website, that it was difficult to choose which ones to offer. Thanks for supplying these types of items.
I actually purchased the ribbon for my daughter, who is a special ed teacher, and has worked with with autistic students in her classes in a public school district and in a special summer program. I will pass your e-mail on to her.
Hi Richard, I got the pens & magnets and I love them! Thanks for shipping them so quickly. I have left positive feedback for you. I have a 14 year old daughter, Amy, with Autism so I am going to give the pens and magnets to some of the great people that work with her. I wish you all the best in your journey with your daughter Sarah. She is very lucky to have such a wonderful, caring father! God Bless, Linda
Hi Richard, Thought you might want to know... these are gifts to families of autistic children for Christmas. I am a behavioral specialist consultant who works with over 13 children diagnosed with an autistic spectrum disorder. I have been working with this population for nearly 5 years and enjoy every minute of it!! Many blessings to you, your family and Sarah, Kelly
Hi. Thank you for leaving positive feedback for me. I will do the same. I actually bought the same magnet from you a few weeks ago, but somebody stole it off my car. People should find better things to do with their time! Michelle
This is just to let you know that I received the magnets. Thank you very much. I am a teacher of children with autism and I am using them as holiday presents. Good luck with everything and have a happy holiday. Susie
Hi Richard, Thank you very much for the fast service. We received the car magnets on Friday, and our cars our proudly wearing them. Our younger son is taking one magnet to put in his locker at school. Best regards, Ellen
I am a 21 yrs old and I love someone with Autism...My almost 3yr old son Ryan was dx with autism dec 5 2003, five days before he turned 2. I have searched high and low for Autism products and am very happy to find buttonsandmore.com thank you Kelly
Hi Richard, The pens and pins arrived today, and they are just great! We are tucking them into Christmas packages and I'm sure everyone will be proud to use these items, and help get the message out. We hope you and your family will have a wonderful holiday season. Thank you again, Becky
I just want to tell you how unbelievably touched I am that you go through so much to raise awareness to others. Especially by telling your story on the web so you can reach more people. I am a teacher of special needs children and through my position I met the most amazing mom in the world. She has had to learn laws and fight discrimination. She has gone further and further up the ladder until she won the placement of her choice for her son. I call myself honored to be her friend and I love that our sons are friends with each other. I have known her for 4 years now and watched her grow in her own confidence through the challenges. I saw the magnet on the back of her car and decided to buy some for myself to show her my support. I bought a key chain for my son to put on his backpack so he will be able to show pride in his friendship and hopefully spark a few conversations.
Hi Richard This is Cathy, Charles's wife. Yes, we did receive our package on Nov 27th. It was great to get it so quickly. I love your website and am going to order more things to give to my family and both my son's teachers. Your items are wonderful and are great tools to spread autism awareness. I, too, love someone with autism. I have 2 sons, ages 3 and 6 who are both autistic. I am fortunate to have a great school district that offers Verbal Behavior Therapy and both my boys are making great strides. Our school district (Brick Township, NJ) just opened a new school this year that is actually attached to the administrative offices. It is called the Educational Enrichment Center and is for students with disabilities, the majority of which are autistic. Our district realizes the need for special attention to this disability and offers wonderful support and programs that have had a great success rate. I feel the key to success is early detection and therapy. Both my sons were diagnosed young and were able to receive extensive therapy from our school district - Mon - Fri, 6 hrs a day. As a parent, I know my gut instinct is always right. Push for answers and don't stop until you get them. Don't let anyone tell you that your child is just a slow learner or late talker. Trust your instincts!!! Thank you for all you do to spread autism awareness! Cathy mother of Andrew and Troy
I have a nephew and 2 neighbor brothers who are autistic. Fortunately, all are doing well. I am an occupational therapist working in a DART preschool so I see a few kids that share the diagnosis. I am sure I will be getting alot of questions about my new magnet. Hopefully I can send some business your way and keep increasing the awareness! Jodi
Dear Richard, I work at a facility for people with developmental disabilities as a behavior analyst. I love working with children and adults with Autism. They are such facinating people and can learn so much more than people give them credit for. I saw a the Austim Awareness ribbon on someone's car in the Disney World parking lot. Then went searching for them on the internet and here I am. I would like to order more ribbon magnets and will do so at the end of the week (when I get paid). I plan on giving them to others at work for the holidays (because everyone that has seen mine wants one). I just wanted to let you know that I love a lot of people with Austim and I am so happy that you are providing this service to raise awareness.Sincerely, Chrisie
Richard I just wanted to say that I was very touched by your story and your pins. Although I don't have any family members that have autism, I have been working with children autism for about 7 years now. I bought one of the magnets for myself and the other for my mother. She teaches a program called challenges for children with autism and she just started her own buisness that provides in home services for children with autism. We are working very hard to help children just like your Sarah. Thanks Becca :o)
Richard- Thank-you for letting me know the status on my magnet. I still can't get over the fact someone stole it. I just hope they needed it more than I. I don't have any messages, but I'm sure, over time I'll think of one. The banner on you web site is great! Chicago just had their first Cure Autism Now walk and I raised $900.00. I'm also on the Neighborhood Community list for getting the word out. I'll buy one of the banners after the holidays if you still have one. Sarah is lucky to have a father like you. Too many times I've found fathers in denial that theirs anything wrong with their child. God bless you and the work you do getting the word out. Lynn
Hi Richard- Thanks for your reply. And thank you for providing your wonderful service. I know it's so easy for our kids to be overlooked by others and these "little" reminders really help to raise awareness in others. I will let you know when the ribbon arrives. Thanks again, Deb- Hannah's mom
p.s. Ryan called me mom for the first time yesterday:)
Hello! My niece has autism too. My sister went through a lot of obstacles to get help, her name is Alize and she will be 4yrs. old she is making progress in her speech but her autism is getting worse she is isolating her self in her room more than before. She resides in Clovis, CA and autism isn't made very aware there. Thank you for your work for making it more aware. God bless, L.
I put the Autism Awareness magnet on the back of my car when I was alone. Michael, my precious grandson has put his backpack in my trunk and has seemingly not paid attention to it. Today, we walked back to my car after school and another student and his mom were walking a close distance from us, as usual. They are friends. When we got to my car, Michael took the magnet off and called across the street to Peytn's mom. He wanted her to see the magnet. It was quite intersting since before that moment, he had not given it any obvious notice. I had already given her one of the magnets last week. She told me that her son held it for a long time. Thanks again....hope to do business with you again! pat g
Richard, I too am a proud parent and will for sure be checking out your other auctions. Christmas is coming! Thanks for keeping everyone aware. We will never give up or loose hope for our beautiful, unique, amazing children! Thanks again, Keep smiling Peace & Blessings Allyson Jimmy's Mom
Richard, Thank you so much. I will keep your site in mind for future items. My nephews are autistic. They are three years old. Thank you for your site. Cathy
Hi Richard, I received my magnets today. Thanks so much for this service. I will probably need more for other family members. My grandson, Luke, 4 years old, has autism and we want to help him so much. Keep up your good work. Thanks, Linda(Luke's Grammie)
THANK YOU SO MUCH RICHARD, I HAVE TWO BOYS WITH AUTISM AND I UNDERSTAND.LISA
Richard: I would like to thank you for having such a novel and great idea!! I have identical twins sons both on the spectrum. So many people do not understand, and are quick to judge. When you are out in public and a "situation" occurs, you get so many looks, stares and comments. It will be so nice "not having to explain" or "ignore those people", just hand them the card. I'm sure I will be ordering more cards from you as time goes on. (unless of course, you and I educate the world beforehand!) I thank you, and I will be ordering from you often!! Sharon
By the way, many people asked me about the bumper stickers I got from you, and I was ofter stopped by people in the shopping mall. I had to stop a couple time just for them to copy your web site from the bumper sticker. It was great to raise the awareness. Jenny
My husband is an autism in-home-trainer and I am a special education teacher. We are always running in to people asking about the ribbons, so a few extra might come in handy. Happy Holidays, Kathryn
Well one of them was a gift for my mother who is a teacher and also is an Autism Waiver Provider. She absolutely LOVED the magnet. She almost cried when I gave it to her.
I really like your website and what it represents. Our son Fredrick is three
years old and has autism. We have known that there has been a problem with
him pretty much since birth. The doctors have said over the years that he
just has PDD and has given us no answers at all. They recommended Illinois'
state Early Intervention program for therapists to help him. Two out of
three therapists did nothing but hinder and make our son worse because they
either blamed us or said that they felt he did not have autism.
Needless to say it has been pretty discouraging the last few years. I know a
lot of people we have talked to were in denial when they were told that
their kids are autistic, but it is really frustrating when the opposite is
true. That is knowing that your son has autism and the doctors and
specialists are in denial. In September, I finally got Fredrick's
pediatrician to say that Fredrick has PDD with autistic traits and that he
should be diagnosed by Easter Seals in Peoria, IL.
The thing that really encouraged us was when we bought a book called "The
Autistic Spectrum" written by Lorna Wing M.D. at Barnes and Noble. It was
amazing that even when we just quickly scanned the book, it was almost as if
they had written it about our son! Since then we have read many other really
good books on the subject and now know without a shadow of a doubt that this
is what our son is facing. That is when we found your site and wanted to buy
some things for us and our families for Christmas.
It has been and still is a difficult hill to climb, but considering how much
we love our son, it has been worth it and we would do it all over again if
we had to.
Thank you for letting me share our story with you. We don't have many
friends and we have only met a couple of people that have autistic children,
so I have really needed to share our story with someone who I know would
understand what I am talking about. Thanks again for your site and your
store.
If you have time, I would love to hear a little more about your story and
circumstances regarding your daughter's autism.
Thanks,
Richard & Janice
P.S. We haven't made it to the Easter Seals yet for a diagnosis, but hope to
be able to by springtime.
I have received them and they are wonderful. My grandson is Autistic and will give them to people as Christmas gifts. Great for the teachers at his school. I will be checking out the rest of your web site for more interesting ideas Thank you for careing!
I am thrilled with the items. I plan on having these items available at a Spaghetti Dinner next week for my son Sam. If all goes well, I will order more in a month or so , as I am also joining with other parents to raise funds for our kids ABA program. Terri Sam's mom
"The real art of conversation is not only to say the right thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at the tempting moment"
I got the package and YES, I put my bumper stickers right on that day to show with all my love my precious son's disability is not to be ashamed of but rather to be acknowledged. My mission is to raise awareness in this small but ever growing town, that autism not only effects my son but everyone around him and their will be many other children and already is that are going to get this diagnosis, so we all need to be informed and embrace these precious people, Thank you and I'm sure I'll be buying more things from your web site. Always a pleasure talking to someone who is in my shoes!!! Sincerely, Dawn
Hi, Richard!
Everything arrived safe and sound! We are proud to display the items on behalf of our son, Griffin!
I have a question. My oldest son who is 9 wrote THE MOST BEAUTIFUL STORY about his little brother at school the other day, and I really want to get it out to people. His teacher was so touched by it that she immediately made me a copy of it to read and even gave a copy to my son's principal who was equally as touched. We are and have been worried about him being the older brother of a special baby and understanding his feelings and emotions. Nothing could be sweeter than this:
What is the greatest gift you've ever received?
Write a letter to the person who gave the gift to you.
Tell why the gift is so important to you.
"October 25, 2004
Dear Mom and Dad. thank you for the greatest gift ever, my baby brother Griffin. I always wanted a brother to play with, to joke around with, but most of all to love! He is just right for me! He can make me laugh, cry, mad, upset, and just down right jolly. Even though he is autistic he still is my favorite little bro. Autism doesn't matter to me! I love Griffin Thomas Arnold!
Love,
Grant Arthur Arnold!"
We have two very special children.
Thank you for letting me share his story! I NEED to get this published or put on our Christmas cards, something! Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you!
Michelle
thanks for doing this! I have worked with children with Autism for 3 and a half years now , and have never found anything to show my love for my kids. Untill I looked at your buttons i never knew there was a autism walk. I went on the internet and looked for one in my area. I missed the one for this year, but you can be sure I will be there next year, hopefully with a team. Thanks again Danielle
Thank you Richard! I'm a graduate student in clinical psychology. We have a large autism clinic at our University. You're doing a great thing! Julie

I am a single mom of a 6 year old son who was diagnosed at 22 months old with PDD. Thank you Richard! If, at any time you'd like to talk...contact me!
Good morning Richard... My son, Nicholas, was diagnosed with PDD at the young age, like Sarah, of 22 months. I thought he was deaf or hearing impared. After a series of hearing tests at The Lexington School for the Deaf, he was found to have impecable hearing. I then contacted an agency to have him evaluated by everyone under the sun. Hence, the diagnosis of PDD. He was started on home therapy. Speech & Language & Feeding therapy, 5 X 60 1:1...OT, 5 X 60 1:1 and SEES 3 X 60 1:1. That went on until he aged out. He was placed in EI (ABA 6:1:2 class) at age 25 months, full-time in Schneider Children's School. He was in a 12 month program. His therapies continued at home and in school. After he aged out, he went to an inclusion class 12:1:1. Long story short, he's 6 years old now, in general ed, gifted in the visual perceptual and decoding areas. He does receive OT in school 2 X 30 1:1 for his fine anf gross motor skills. He was just evaluated Monday for Speech & Language, again, due to a lateral lisp and poor pragmatics. He is also due to have a full IQ test in the upcoming weeks. I am a parent advocate for the Dep't of ED here, as I volunteer to attend CSE / IEP / EPC meetings. I have been doing it now for 2 years and totally enjoy it! I am very vigilant when it comes to my son, his needs and the needs of others. Thanks for listening Richard! Would love for you to share my story and would love to hear your about Sarah! PS - If my son was born a girl, his name would have been Sarah Rose!!! Regards....Michelle
My 6yr old son is autistic
My nephew, who just turned 3, was diagnosed with autism about 6 months ago. Before that, I knew nothing of it, I have learned very fast!! Thank you very much! Molly
We belong to a new small autistic support group just in our county and it is amazing because of the things we are doing all the different therapies and support we are pushing the schools to give them the things that are theirs by law and we are making a difference and I know that these bumper stickers will cause people to be aware. Thanks again, Dawn

How do you do this? We had a prelimanary diagnosis 9-20-4 - I new in my heart memorial day weekend 04 and waiting to see a developmental pediatrician 1-5-05 - 7 months later - to get the official dx - but I see your things and think sometimes I do NOT want to have to deal with all of this but it was my discovery anyway just wanted to touch base with someone who knows and say - when the diagnosis is confirmed I WILL BE BUYING these things to passout!! THANKS and GOD BLESS YOU and your family
HI Richard, my order arrived the other day and everything was perfect. The car magnets are already on both my husbands and my cars. Thank you! Anne-Marie
I just wanted to let you know that I wish I could have had these cards with me earlier today when some nasty lady told me to quiet my 18 mo old autistic child down in the store. Some people just don't understand how wonderful these children really are. I have an 18 mo old daughter with pdd-nos and a 13 yr old with asperger's syndrome.
Hi Richard Just wanted to let you know I got the car magnets today. I am VERY satisfied and would like to thank you very much for the excellent transaction I had with you on eBay. I had already left you my feedback. Thank you very much! Have a good day, Patty
I received our buttons and magnets on Thurs. the 9th. We are very pleased with them. I am giving some of the items as Christmas gifts. I can't believe what great service we got from you! Thank you so much. Laura Happy Holidays!!!
Hi You say you appreciate feedback... I think you are great. And your mission is working. I have had several people ask me about the autism awareness car magnet, and about autism. Thanks and have a happy holiday, Martina
Autism Angel
The autistic and slow
are far blessed than we know,
For after life's journey
It's heaven they'll go.
They know only love
Just lack hatred and sin,
They are "Earthly Angels"
For Christ is within.
God flows through these children
Like fountains of grace,
To remind us of compassion
In a sweet, happy face.
Poem by Brenda D'Eliseo
Hi Richard, I received the buttons - thank you, they are wonderful!!!! Thanks and hope you have a wonderful weekend, Melanie.
Hello I just wanted to let you know that I reveived the car magnets and they are great. I have worked with children with autism for the last 6 years. They are a great bunch of kids and they keep me on my toes. I also work very closely with the Autism Cordinator of the school system and her assistant. I plan to give them each a magnet for Christmas. I will probably be in contact with you for some more magnets. Have a Happy Holiday and thanks you for all you do to raise awareness!!!
Thanks I teach Autistic children.
Hi Richard, Yeah, I boo boo'd and only ordered one. That's okay though. I can always order another one later. I will let you know when I receive them. Thanks for offering these great products at prices we can all afford! Laura PS: My daughter who is 9 has autism.
That was fast. Thank you very much. Have a nice holiday. Melissa
I received the package today, and I was sooo excited to get the Autism Awareness car magnets! I work with autistic kids and I gave some of the magnets to my co-workers and plan on giving others to the families with whom I work. In fact, I will most likely be ordering more, and slapping them onto my parents' and sister's cars as well! I was VERY excited to find the extra holiday gift (the I <3 someone with autism pin) and I immediately stuck it right on my work bag. I love all of the kids I work with, and each one is a challenge and a reward! I hope you enjoy your daughter as much as I enjoy "my kids," they make every day interesting! Thanks for providing the magnets, 'cause I am passing the info on your site around to my coworkers and families, and I may even need more myself! Stephanie Theraputic Staff Support
Thank you for letting me know.. I was wondering if you minded me sharing your link with the "Autism specialist" here at school.. Maybe some other parents would want to order some items. I'm right there with you, my son (who is the baby of the family) is the apple of my eye.. I love him for him and not just this disease.. Thanks again. Debbie Shane's mom
Richard, Got my magnets today, thanks for the great service. My daughter was wanting these for Christmas. I'm sure I'll be visiting you site soon. Happy holidays Leslye

Hi RIchard, I just wanted to let you know that I received my package, and I thank you very much for everything. It is just great and my daughter will love everything. She is a tutor for autistic children and truly loves her job and the kids she works with. I hope you have a very wonderful holiday season. Thank you, Alice
Hi Richard, My son has autism too. I bought one of these for my car and my family had a fit that I didn't get more :-) Thanks for the opportunity to buy 3 and get one free. S.
Hello! Just a note to let you know that I received the ribbons yesterday. Thank you very much!! Mine is already on my car. My nephew had a bit of a breakthrough this week, he started singing "Jingle Bells" out of the blue. I guess they have been singing it at school and he just finally felt the need to sing it at home. It was the sweetest thing I have ever heard!! I have learned to greatly appreciate every word that he says....they come few and far between. Thanks again and God bless..... Merry Christmas! Molly
YOU ARE DOING A WONDERFUL THING.KEEP IT UP AND NEVER GIVE UP. PARNET OF CHILD WITH AUTISM SUSAN
Hi Richard, I was so excited when I saw all the new items on your site. It has been about 6 to 8 months since I found you. Thank you so much for helping a Mother of a son with Autism get the word out. We love you and Happy Holidays Thanks Melissa
Dear Richard, Until about eight years ago, I thought of autistic children as head-banging, no social contact, all of the extremes. Then I met Michael, the two year old grandson of a very dear friend. At first, I wasn't sure what the parents were noticing, but he appeared OK to me, maybe a little slower than average. I have been in love with Michael ever since. He is a sweet, inquisitve, adorable, well-behaved little boy. His autism is very obvious, he is in a special school. He lives with his parents, sister, and baby brother. They are a dedicated and loving family. Michael is in a wonderful environment. Michael, for some reason, almost from birth, fell in love with my husband. Whenever we see him, he sort of looks behind me for my husband or ask where he is, if he's not with me. I never knew that you could be so much in love with someone elses child, but Michael makes your heart swell. Please, keep up your good work, and let's keep people aware that autistic people are out there and need our help and LOVE.Leslie
Sarah's in good hands too. Leslie
Hi Richard, I think what you are doing is really wonderful. I have an autism support group on Yahoo and your site is posted on there a lot. I'm excited about giving my family the magnets for their vehicles. Thanks, Lisa
Our almost three-year old son was diagnosed with autism in July and coincidentally my husband (a former special education teacher) decided to go back into teaching and has since taken a job teaching in an autism classroom. We are surrounded in all aspects of our life by beautiful autistic children and want the world to be aware of it.
Hi Mr. Bolster, I wanted to thank you for the pins for our Autism Walk. The walk was extremely successful and we raised over $1,100 for Autism research. Thanks Again, Melaina Langer Alpha Phi Omega Service Vice President
Good Morning Mr. Bolster, Thank You making this order possible. I just placed my order and am looking forward to receiving it. I too have a child with Autism. Most of this order was made by my daughter's friends who are in support of Autism Awareness. : ) Thank you. Happy Holidays, The Betancourt Family
We received the buttons. They look great. Thank-you very much . Have a blessed Christmas The Wyman’s
Hi Thank you so much I have an 8 year old daughter with Autism also. I also appreciate you making this site and bringing Autism awareness to others with these pins and things. I got your website from one of my Autism Lists i belong to, and that person said your products were wonderful and you were great to deal with. Thank you so much, and i will let you know when i receive my items. Hopefully i will be purchasing more as time goes on. Thanks again and Merry Christmas to you and Sarah~ Nancy, Jenna 8 years old, my wonderful daughter who has Autism and OCD
I just want to say thank you for taking the time to make these items and for caring so much about educating people about autism. I work as a senior therapist with children with autism in their homes. I have never felt more fulfilled. What amazing children. Thank you so much, I will be sure and pass your site on to the families I work with and my coworkers. Stacie
Hi Richard Yes, I received the buttons and car magnets. Thank you for sending them out so quick. I can't wait to give them to my sons teachers! Have a great holiday and keep up the great work of spreading autism awareness!!! Cathy, Andrew and Troy's mom
Richard, I just wanted to let you know that I received my cards in the mail today and they were wonderful. Thank you for the button also (my oldest daughter stole it from me immediately-she's 17 and adores her baby sister-and she is proudly displaying it on her purse). I enjoyed the flyers that you included also, especially the holiday letter. My husband's family doesn't understand what is wrong with Fiona and I am making some copies to send to them prior to going to their holiday gathering. I just want Fiona to be comfortable (she has recently started pulling her own hair out when she gets anxious) and for everyone to understand that she can't help the things she does. Iam going to check out your site. I think that your service and information and your way of getting autism information seen is fantastic. I would do business with you anytime. A happy holiday to your family. Give Sarah an extra hug on the holiday. Thank you again Christina, Bristol and Fiona's mom
Hi, I was just checking to see what was new on your site and wanted to share how popular your car magnets have become here in MO. I gave several to co-workers and friends and have shared the website with many parents. Unfortunately, I also know several that have been stolen off our cars at mall parking lots. I hope they are atleast using them for a good cause. I gave each of my parents one and my mom actually got followed by somebody into a gas station to find out where she got hers. She was a parent herself and they exchanged phone numbers and I gave her your website address. I have heard a similar story from a friend. Just wanted to let you know how well your products were actually speading awareness. The popular item now is awareness bracelets, such as the ones at pinmart, just a suggestion. Keep up the amazing job-it's working.
Jenny
Hi Richard, Thanks for your prompt attention to my order. Robby's and Bethany's (my kids' names) ABA therapists love the magnet on our car...I decided to get some for them. Have a nice weekend! Thanks again, Ellen
Richard, I just want to let you know that I received my order. Thank you for keeping me updated with your e-mails and for filling the order so promtly. We certainly will be ordering more items. My daughter graduated from college, last May, with a degree in psychology. Unsure of which path to follow for her master's degree she applied for a job, as a teacher, at a private school for autistic children. Her love and dedication to "her children" shows, she glows when she talks about them. She is no longer unsure of which path to follow. She will continue on to become a behavioral specialist. Her heart has been touched and she feels so blessed to have been given this opportunity. With loving fathers like you , loving teachers like my daughter, and supportive family and friends, I have no doubt that the mission to cure autism will indeed become a reality!! How lucky Sarah is to have you as a father. Happy holidays, Joanne
Richard, I received your package yesterday and was quite pleased! I think it's a great thing you do--raising autism awareness this way. I am currently knee deep in trying to work with my school district to provide services for my twin 4 year old boys with ASD. Unfortunately, we have just had to hire an attorney and foresee due process in our future. But someday I hope to do more to rasie autism awareness as well. You are an inspiration! I hope the holidays bring you and your family happiness and peace. And I am sure to be doing business with you again in the future. Thanks again, Kim
I also wanted to thankyou for the cute little button " I heart someone with Autism" , I put it on my 17 mo. old little girls jacket. The others just seemed to big for her size and she loves her brothers too. Thankyou !! Julie
Richard, I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate that you offer this product. I just had a very hard weekend with my 5 year old autistic son, Ethan. During an outing at Target Store, security was called because he had a melt down. I knew my only option, after the melt-down started, was to sit down, hold him, provide deep pressure massage and wait until he came back in sync. The things people say to me while this is going on really disgusts me. A woman made my older (normally developing) daughter cry by telling her her brother was a "Brat" and "Santa was not going to give him presents." I wish I had these cards last weekend. Thank you again, Nicole
I just received the order today. I cannot thank you enough. Someone stole our first order of autism magnets off our cars. I couldnt wait to get more ordered. I just love the new things to order! Pens, address labels, etc... Steve
Hi Richard, I got the magnets today and they are GREAT! Thanks for shipping them so quickly. Hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday and a happy, healthy New Year! All the best! Linda & Gary

i work with kids with autisum and i know that a cure will be found soon
My name is Lisa and I have worked with autistic children for 10 years now. I am a paraprofessional at our school for autism. I must say that I love my job and am glad to find these magnets. I have been searching for some time now. We have a local autism society and we are always looking for new ways to help raise $$$. If you have the information on fundraising with this, please let me know. Thank You, Lisa
I admire your mission. My son has autism too. Thank you Merry Christmas and God Bless!
just got my magnets a day ago and they are gone already! My family loves them! They all want one. Thanks!
hello ...I just wanted to tell you I have a 6 yo son who is autistic...I totally support you 100%
Hi Richard I recieved the buttons on Dec.22 2004.Thank for the fast service I Was able to give them to the Bus Driver and Monitor this holiday season. Thanks again Nancy
Thank you very much for your kind words. I have a ten year old son with Autism and will proudly wear this ribbon on my car in hopes to raise awareness in my area. Although Autism has been "in the news," it's amazing how stigmatized and confusing this disorder really is. Good luck to you and your family and I hope you found help in your area and something that works for your child. Take care, Bridget
Thank you so much! My Mom and I can't wait to put these on our cars to show love for my brother. Have a wonderful New Years!
I received everything in the mail today! Everything looks great. Thanks for your service. I'm so excited about the buttons for the seminar! Thanks again, Crystal
Hi Richard, arrived yesterday...as expected you have once again delivered outstanding service...I am certain you will be hearing from me again for more...they are the perfect gift and item for me to hand out to all our friends, co-workers, family members, etc. Thanks again and Happy Holidays! Julie
Dear Richard, My name is Carol, and I am the mom of a ten year old boy who has autism. He just happens to be a twin, by the way! A couple of weeks ago, I noticed a car in my area sporting a magnetic autism awareness ribbon, but I had no idea where to buy one. Well, I was on my way to the mall today, and happened to notice that the car in front of me had one, as well. When we got to the light, I pulled over and asked the driver where he got it. Since this is New York, we didn't have time to chat, so he asked me for my last name and told me he would contact me. When I got home this evening, my husband told me that someone had called. It turns out that the owner of the car is a teacher in Garden City, NY, and had loaned her car to her brother (the man I saw driving). She gave me the name of your website, and I got your e-mail address from there. OK - to make a long story short, I am planning on placing an order for some magnets (along with some other things), but I just had to drop you a note and let you know how wonderful your site is! I'm going to pass the information on to my local SEPTA (Special Education PTA) and other friends and family. Thank you so much for putting that site together! The inspirational quotes ALONE were worth the visit! God Bless! Carol
Hi Richard Just wanted to let you know that we received our magnets and other stuff today and we love them! I am e-mailing your site to family and friends....we have been looking for autism awareness items for a while. Our son, Logan, is 3 years old and he has autism...he's the love of my life. I am 100% dedicated to autism awareness and promoting more research. While doing a paper on autism for a class I learned that autism is now more frequent than childhood cancer yet autism doesn't get nearly the attention that cancer research does. Anyway, thanks again and I'm sure you'll hear from us again in the future! Thanks Carissa
I saw a ribbon on a car at my son's school. That's how I found your website. I will keep checking it out, and may purchase more later. I know others will want a ribbon magnet as soon as they see mine. My son, Cole, has autism. It's has been an eye opening and amazing journey. Thank you so much for the ribbon and cards. I will email you as soon as I receive the items. Take care, Laura
Hi Richard- Got the cards in the mail today. Everybody at the school loved the buttons! My son's right ear drum ruptured on Christmas Day. Believe it or not, the doctor opened his office to see him on Christmas Day! Now that's what I call a blessed Christmas present! Thanks again! Larry.
Richard...The keychains arrived today. I am very impressed with your work! I really love them! They make a statement...my statement...our statement. I can't thank you enough. Thank you Richard..thank you very much! Happy New year to you and yours! Michelle
Thank you so much for the super fast shipment and the little I Love Someone With Autism Button! I'll wear it proudly! God Bless!!!
I received the car magnets in perfect condition on Christmas Eve. They were well received by my mother, sister (it's her grandson who is autistic) and myself. The first magnet I bought for my sister was stolen off her car when she was at work. I was greatful to find them and in time for Christmas. Thank you again.
hello richard thank you so much for having such a great website!! I havent been able to find the car magnets for such a super price. thanks again! Samantha
Hi Richard, I did recieve my package before christmas. thanks so much. I would have emailed sooner but was spending every minute with my oldest son. He is leaving for Iraq next week and left us Christmas night. Anyways thanks again and be looking for my pic here in the next month. and more orders too. Happy new year!! Tammy
Hi I just received my order of buttons and magnets today!! I LOVE them ALL...you do very, very nice work, and got it shipped to me so fast!! I really appreciate that (since a couple of them are Christmas presents!) I can not wait to put the Ribbon magnet and bumper sticker on my truck (its much too cold outside today, we are at 17 below zero, and that is without the windchill!!) I have seen those Ribbon magnets all over the stores for "our troops" and "breast cancer", but never saw them for Autism! So, I hope to make a difference by having these on my truck. Maybe it will help people to ask "what the ribbon is for"...And then i can advocate for my daughter, and all the other kids. Again, Thank You SO much for getting the order to me so quickly, and for doing such a great service for Autism and our kids!! Im sure i will be ordering more buttons and magnets soon! Merry Christmas to your whole family!!! Nancy & Jenna~my 8 year old beautiful daughter, who has Autism and OCD...
Hello, Thanks for offering this wonderful item. I am a Psychologist who works with children with PDD and children on the spectrum. I have dedicated my career to helping families and I will be proud to have this on my car. I thank you for offering this item, as they are RARE in the state of PA. Best of luck to you and your daughter and wish you and your family the happiest Holiday and New Year. Sincerely, Nancie
I received the magnets 2 days ago (Monday, 12/20). Thanks so much for this service - we have proudly put them on our cars and they look great! My husband had received a puzzle pin at a charity golf event and we had been wondering where we could get something we could more prominently display - these magnets fit the bill! We will look to you first when we are searching for more items like these. Wishing you and your family happy holidays! Kathryn Justin's mom
This is a great website and I plan on telling many people about it. I received an Autism Awareness ribbon for my car today from one of my students (it made me cry!). I am a teacher of students with autism in MD (By the way, I lived in Worcester for three years recently and was in Leicester often). I have 6 (5 boys and 1 girl) ages 5 and 6. One child had never been in school before this year. His parents and Dr. thought he was just being a boy and would grow out of this "phase". Hoo boy it's been tough with him in the class! Thanks so much for your efforts in raising awareness. Everyone involved needs to spread the word. Keep up the good work!! :)
It's wonderful that there are others besides myself out there fighting this cause.. my son is autistic.. i carry autistic ribbon italian charms and lapel pins in my ebay store... Thanks and keep up the good work!!!
I am a Mentor and my life has been changed by a little girl with autism. I hope to be an advocate forever for these special children. I will never be the same again...and I don't want to be. Thanks for offering these very unique items! Give your little girl a big hug from a stranger who cares! Sincerely, Christina
Thank you very much. I did find the labels and have already downloaded them. I can't wait to start using them! You have a bunch of terrific stuff. I will let you know when my stuff arrives and thanks for everything! Sonja, Kyle's Mom
Richard, Just wanted to let you know that I recieved your shipment today. My husband and I love them! We've pinned them everywhere we could think of. I'm sure we'll be asked where they came from and we'll be sure to let everyone know. Our 12 year old son has autism. In addition to that my husband is a group home manager for a large Western PA service provider, we actually live in the group home and our clients have autism too. It really is our life. I've done some work for our local support groups and sat on several boards for advocacy and education. We always try to support autism awareness and meaningful education for anyone who asks. We also support fund raising for cancer and leukemia as we lost our daughter to leukemia nearly 7 years ago. Sometimes the road can be long and hard. I just want you to know that you are doing a wonderful work, we all have to fight the good fight, in the end our children have us and we have them. There is no greater advocate than a parent and no one worth fighting harder for than our children. Just know that what you do is appreciated greatly. Valerie, Klayton's Mom
The twelve-sided pentagon looks pretty cool. I printed them out, and it looks like I'll have no trouble putting it together. It should make a neat thing to give my coordinator to put on her desk! Keep the good stuff coming! thanks, Stephanie, Theraputic Staff Support
I just wanted to tell you I was wondering threw ebay looking at items under the keyword Autism. I came across your buttons and I looked at all the pages with your buttons and ordered 13 buttons. I fell in love with your wonderful buttons with words of hope for people and familys suffering with autism. My son is 8 and is very mildly autistic. I am very lucky I know it could be worse but, I also know that my son is special and I am lucky because God gave him to me. When I read the buttons on your website I cried and laughed and I can't wait to give my son's teachers and bus driver there buttons. Your special too. Thank You Tina
Dear Richard, Just wanted to give you a HUGE THANK YOU for getting our buttons and magnetic signs out to me so fast. You are AWESOME!!! Have a very happy, healthy and wondrous New Year. Sincerely, Sandy PS - I brought the box over to my daughter (whose son is our autistic marvel) last night and she was so thrilled. She couldn't wait to start giving them out and wearing them.
Hello Richard- The paper toy is awesome! Today my son came over and shook me awake and said "Dad!" He is basically non-verbal (with about 8 words at age 5). When I asked him a question he responded "yeah", and it was an appropriate response! I have seen more hope these past few days than ever before. It is like he is somewhat coming out of his shell, and there seems to be a deeper understanding. He is becoming helpful with clearing the table and putting things away, and doing other helpful things. I am batting my brain wondering if there was anything we had done anything different. The only thing I can think of is that he has been, by choice, eating a lot of fish. It instantly became his favorite food last week. It may be completely unrelated, but it is the only thing that has been different. Thanks for listening, but I am very excited. Larry
My daughter is 3, and we have been doing ABA in home for 4 months. We have had dramatic results, and will have more in the coming year with the addition of a consultant that will start in January. I am also going to start the B6 vitamins this month. We live in a remote area of East Texas and we have had to do everything ourselves. There are no clinics or specialists here, we have to travel. We are lucky to have a local State University though and we get students to work with Taryn. FEAT has been our best training resource and Behavior Analysts Inc.com is where I get all my books and they have a great assessment tool called the ABLLS that will define the child's strengths and weaknesses. The ABLLS is great for a parent that is having trouble coming to IEP agreements with a school district as well as for the home program. Autism Research Institute has been my best resource for trustworthy data on medical treatment. I am sure that you know of most of these resources, but if not I encourage you to check into them and pass them along to others. Taryn is now starting to talk and we have several spontaneous words, plus she will make an approximation of almost any word. She has come such a long way. I have set my expectations high, I hope she progresses to the point that she can be In a normal classroom setting and not special ed. The hardest thing about this though, is almost no one comprehends what I am doing. I have not met a parent yet here in our area that has any understanding of ABA. It can be frustrating at times. I hope to get more bumper stickers and buttons from you in the future to raise awareness, budgets are tight though, so it will be a little at a time! As you know, caring for and teaching our special children can be expensive. Christi
Hello! My name is Julie and I am the winner of the buy 3, get 1 free.... which I did! I am very excited to recieve my magnets and show my awareness for the cause. Thanks again. I have been working (tutoring) with a 6 year old boy wiht autism since he was 4, and he had come a long way. I have grown to love him as if he was my little brother! I also use to work with children with autism for two years and I loved every minute of it. Well, I can't wait to receive my magnets. Thanks again, Julie

This is a great item! Josh is a child with autism (age 10) and enjoys dong "walk abouts" so this may come in handy some day!
These are for several of my family members. My 4 1/2 year old son is autistic. I appreciate your keeping these items at a low cost so that I can share them with my family. Together we will hopefully help raise awareness and maybe one day find a cure or prevention for those of the future.
Thank you! I have a 4 year old daughter Sarah who is doing very well with ABA therapy. I hope this is the year for great language increase! blessings, Shelley
I also have a son with Autism, he is 3 yrs old and is doing fantastic. Good luck! Thank you Nicol

I'm a service coordinator for Title XIX Waiver recepients and I have had the honor to meet and interact with several individuals who suffer from Autism while working in this field. One of them in particular, Andy, has a key to my heart; I was his support staff for several months and have been his service coordinator for almost a year now. It always amased me how intelligent he is, how capable and how loving. I have introduced him to Baseball, although he's often more interested in straightening up the gear, and roller skating. He has introduced me to a world I was oblivious to until I met him, and I feel very honored to have him as a friend. I would like to express how much I appreciate the work that you're doing here. I have purchased one of your stickers for myself - I (heart) someone with Autism - and, after showing it off to everybody where I work, I return today with orders from co-workers. This is an awesome service and I really appreciate you doing it.
Hi Richard, I received my order today. Thank you for such fast service and it was also wonderful how you kept me informed as to the status of my order. Great communication! The ribbon magnets are already on my cars and giving some to grandparents also. The Autism cards are a wonderful, gentle way of helping people to become aware of this epidemic. There have been several occasions where they would have come in handy. I have already e-mailed your wonderful site to all my friends and family. Sarah is a beautiful girl and she has one special Dad! Thank you for taking the time to help make the public aware of something so silent. We will be shopping here again real soon! Annie
I received the bumper stickers today. My daughter is 3 years old and she was diagnosed seven months ago. I'm still at a loss. I'm still grieving like I lost something. How do you deal with it? How can I stop crying about it and move on? Thanks, Lisa

Hi, I am a returning customer, thanks so much for all the great "autism" items you offer. jenny
Hello Richard, Thank you so much I will look at the things you mentioned in just a few minutes. May God bless you and your family. My son Jonah is 7 years old and he is severely autistic. He is non-verbal. He is also not potty trained. It has been a long and difficult journey for our family. We have been met with several issues surrounding his education. The people who are paid to deal with autistic children here in Louisiana are for the most part pretty ignorant. Finding a teacher or an adminstrator that truly cares is like finding a needle in a haystack. I believe that if we can get the message out there, then perhaps we could enlighten people as to the severity of the disorder and how it is becoming a growing epidemic. I fully understand your desire to make sure that the topic of autism is always out there being talked about. My husband and I have spent so many sleepless nights worrying what will become of our precious little one when we are gone. It makes me ill to even think about it. I often times feel powerless to do anything. Jonah was diagnosed when he was 2. Since then I have spent countless nights trying to research and learn anything that I can about the disorder. It get's so overwhelming at times. Thank you for your continued efforts in trying to get the message out there. The names and faces are different but the stories are usually the same or very similar. Families of autistic children need to stick together. Please know that you have friends in Louisiana now and I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I wish you all the best on your journey with your daughter. May God Bless her and the rest of your family. I understand what you are going through. Stay strong and never give up!! Teresa
The "I have Autism..." buttons will be especially useful for my son, to enlighten people outside of his family and school. Thanks for the free items on the website...the only problem was that I was a bit confused and clicked the link to Adobe 7. I already have the free Adobe 6 free version and it was fine for the download. Keep up the "good fight", you are doing a useful service. Walter
Hi! I just wanted to say that I think these are great. I have a son who is 4 and 1/2 who is Autistic as well and I just wanted to say thanks. I bought 4 ribbons and I am sure will be back for more =) Kim

Many people have inquired about how to get one & I have gladly given out your website address. Thanks for helping educate the many people out there that our children are special. Autism is a invisible disability that is misunderstood! Keep up the great work! Sincerely, Leslie, mom of 2 boys with Autism

Hi Richard (Sarah's Dad), My husband, Rick (Shelby Edward's Dad) and I (Shelby Edward's Mom) are the parents of a 9 year old boy with PDD-NOS. We both wear badges at work - my husband at Boeing, and I at a Special Education Preschooler (specializing in Autistic children), so we look forward to wearing our new lanyards. I had to laugh when I saw "Sarah's Dad". My husband belongs to a group for Father's with Special Needs Children and all of their name tags have their names, and then "...'s Dad". I am going to definately check out the box and see what other goodies you have. Thanks, Jacki
I am very excited to get it. My best friend of fifteen years has two young children with autism. I have to admit that I had never heard of autism untill she educated me about it. Now I want people to be aware that autism is out there and is unfortunatly becoming more and more common. That is why this magnet is important to me. I can help be the voice for her children and all the others with autism.
Greetings, Thank you for your email. I have a 4 year old little boy that has Autism. I have within the past few months moved to this area and do not know of anyone that has Austistic children. I appreciate your email because sometimes it feels like my son and I are alone dealing with this. God has brought him so far and of course is always with us but sometimes it is nice to know that someone out there understands. May God bless you and your angel. Debbie
Thank you so much. Your work is appreciated! Robbin, mother of Patrick
Hi Richard, Thank you so much. We started last year for the first time at school and it was a success, we want to expand this year. Hi Richard. :) I will forward your site on to some of my teacher friends. I have a son who is on the Autistic Spectrum and have the fortune of working with some very wonderful, caring teachers and administrators who have made a difference in our lives. Ever since moving into the school district that I work in, I have tried to encourage my colleagues to learn as much as they can about Autism. Having my son has been a blessing for me, because I feel that it has made me a better teacher for all of the children I work with and it has put me in a good role as an advocate for other children and families.
I recieved my order and everything is wonderful. Thank you again for giving me items to raise awareness!! Jennifer
I understand. Congrats on what you do! Your daughter is lucky to have such a loving dad.

It was wonderful to find your site. I have 8 year grandson with Austim. I got these car magnets for my son and daughter in law. She is going to love them. I will see that she gets a link to your site.
know that Sarah is in God's hands. He made our little angels special for a reason. But I know the burden of being a parent of these unique children, one of the goals of my company is to raise money to provide scholarships for summer camps/respite care and such... as much to give the caregivers a break as for the kids. Keep in touch! Tina, Anthony's Mom
Thanks Richard, appreciate it, it gets so annoying when i say Tommy (my son) is autistic and they say "what is autistic?" This will help people realize that it is something to be concerned about, glad you have them! Take care and keep it up! Tracey
I commend you on your wonderful site- wish I had found it long ago. Thanks, Sue Cranmer, proud Mom of an autistic son
Thanks Richard, appreciate it, it gets so annoying when i say Tommy (my son) is autistic and they say "what is autistic?" This will help people realize that it is something to be concerned about, glad you have them! Take care and keep it up! Tracey

Thanks so much! I am a special needs educator and I work with children who have autism, and they have changed my life. People with autism have beautiful minds. Interacting with them and watching them grow has made be realize the true human strife to succeed! Every day that my kiddos make progress is a day they are fighting and winning their battle against autism! What amazing individuals! There is so much hope! Thank you for your efforts to help spread awareness! I hope and pray all the best for Sarah! Rebecca
Hi Richard, Thank you so much for the package you have sent to me. I 'm sure I will be ordering more merchandise soon. I too love someone with Autism. It is my five year old son, Erik. I thank God for this beautiful child He has sent to me. Erik has brought out qualitities in myself and other people that otherwise wouldn't have been learned. Erik is now in our world besides his own and shares so much with his family. His progress is steadly growing and is so interested in learning new words. I have tried parent support groups and listened to many mothers cry about their children. I have offered my help (I am a strong advocate for Erik) but I think that they just want someone to hear their anguish and not want to learn how to be their own advocate. I have a hard time helping people that don't want to help themselves or their situation. I would love to hear your daughter's progress report. It is so nice to converse with parents that want to focus on their children. As I say, my son wakes up everyday with the biggest challenge of his life and he doesn't even know it. I'm just hear to make that voyage a little easier. Thank you again for sending the package. DonnaMarie
Thanks for the great 'mission work' you do. Have a blessed 2005! I look forward to doing business with you again this year! Cindy
I want everyone to know how proud I am of my son. His name is Jalen and he is nine years old.
Richard- No, no -- Thank YOU! I've been dyin' to get some stuff for autism awareness... It's just so important! And makes going out in the world with Eric so much easier.... When I lived in CT I wanted to get Eric a t-shirt made saying "what are you lookin at? I'm autistic - what's your excuse?" Or something to that effect.... Not the best Christian way to go about it... But I am sure you know what I mean. Living in Washington has been easier... people so much more aware here... although... Finding programs to help Eric is just about impossible. Thanks for listening to me rant! Have a great day. Elizabeth
Dear Richard: I received my order this afternoon. Thank you so much. My grandson is 2 years old and has been diagnosed just very recently. It has been so very hard for his Mom and Dad to accept. His Dad still hasn't completely come into acceptance. Which makes it hard for my daughter (Buddies Mom) But I've known in my heart since "Buddie" was about 13 months old, he danced to his own drummer. After prodding my daughter, she finally agreed to have him tested. He is as bright as a penny, but just not with us sometimes. He is getting therapy, and has a "wonderful" support team. He has really come such a very long way, in such a short time. Thanks Again, Jane
Hi Rich, justed wanted to let you know that the package came today and everything was GREAT!!! Thank-you very much! :) Heather (Mom to 3 one with pdd) :)

The book marker arrived today. I really like them. My older son will enjoy having one for school. he is seven and is already taking care of his brother that has autism whi is five. My oldest son has an autism lapel pin and wears it to school on his sweater and tells all his friends and teachers what is stands for. Thanks again. Jennifer.
Richard, Thank you so much for responding. I found your sight through a Google search and I had no idea you were a dad too. Thank goodness we have people like you who are able to get the message out there. We are all trying. My 18-year-old daughter just started the first Autism Awareness group in her high school (SAO Student Autism Outreach) because of the effect her sister had on her. I will let you know when they arrive. Thanks again! .....Sandy, Rachel's Mom PS...I LOVE the Proud Parent magnet! Our kids may never be honor students, but they work harder than all of them put together!
Hi Richard, I received the magnets on Monday. Thank you so much for offering these wonderful items! Thanks, Petrina
the lanyard should work great for carrying a couple of pecs cards that I need in public. I have an 8 year old with Asperger's and a 6 year old with nonverbal autism. Calvin and Carson are the joys of my life, and life is such a wonderful adventure! I look forward to receiving your products and helping to spread the message. Take care, Kim
Hello Richard - I got the package last night, THANK YOU SO MUCH !! I just love everything !! I gave one of the car magnet ribbons to a friend here at work who has a granddaughter with autism. She wanted to pay me for it, and I said, "No. It's my pleasure to give it to ya." She was very grateful. Hopefully both her and I will be approached by someone who sees the ribbons and asks us about autism. It's all about getting people educated and I am grateful to you for your website and the chance to make everyone aware of this challenging disability. THANKS AGAIN !!
Richard, Thank you for your email. I also have a daughter with mild autism and her name is Sarah. Thank you again~ Patricia~
I heard of autism items being sold on ebay last night at my autism support group meeting. I want everyone to know how proud I am of my son. His name is Jalen and he is nine years old.

Richard, First let me say your web site brought tears to my eyes. I have an autistic grandson who is my heart. Thanks for expressing what others are feeling! Debbie

Thanks Richard. I have an 8 year old daughter with Aspergers and I'm always looking for things to promote autism awareness and also to make Emily comfortable with her differences. ~Karen
I'm so excited! I also forwarded your site to some family members, so i wouldn't be surprised if you get some more orders. Again, thanks...I'm really happy to find Autism items. People just don't have a clue what it is do they? I find myself in awe at the lack of knowlegde of the word Autism. But at one time in my life, I didn't have a clue either. I do now though. We parents are the only true experts on Autism, and we are their champions. It's up to us. Have a great day! Tracey
Hello Richard, Thank you for the email. I will certainly let you know when I receive the package. My grandson, Gannon, is the someone I love with autism. He will be 4 years old on Wednesday, February 23rd. I have been checking your website and have told my daughter about it. I think it is just wonderful what you are doing and I am happy to support your efforts. You have been added to my eBay Favorite's List so I can continue to support you and stay in touch. Should I be clever and smart enough to come up with a new message, I wouldn't hesitate to share it with you! Carol, Gannon's Grandmama
Richard, Thank you for the kind note. My son is the person that I love afflicted with this. I don't know if you or others have thought the same as me, but at times when things are frustrating I remember all the celebrations that we get to have. When our kids accomplish something new its truly a celebration so we get to celebrate more than other parents. Developement for other kids is routine and therefore many accomplishments go unnoticed. So we are blessed in the fact that we get to celebrate more than other families. Nothing goes unnoticed and that is a blessing. I look forward to getting my bumper stickers. Thank you Michele
was just surfing ebay and was LEAD to your site. my sister has "adopted"the most amazing child who is challanged and perhaps somehow blessed with this also. although i'm a nurse i feel overwhelmed at times with justins out bursts. he is the most loving beautiful child.we are taking him on short weekend trips.he really enjoyed the tram. not sure if this is helping him,or pehaps we distrupt his routine to much, but it seems we expanding his interests and his language. if you have any thing to suggest PLEASE feel free.will be attaching my id badge to this. thank you aunt mary
My 3 year old grandson, Keith, is Autistic. He was a perfectly normal little fellow, saying words, until around 2 years old and he had stopped talking. The doctors did not seem that concerned about him not talking but there were many other signs but I was very ignorant about Autism....really did not know what it meant but I set out on a journey to find his problem. We have a very good Public School that I found out would do testing on him to find the problem. After several consultations, he was diagnosed as Autistic. His father enrolled him in A Child Development Center in Gulfport MS which specializes in Autism. A big yellow school bus picks him up each morning at 7:15 and drops him off at 2:40 in the afternoon. He started August 22, 2004 and now has great eye contact and his motor skills have really improved. This summer he will go for Speech Therapy one hour a day for 3 days per week for 5 weeks. My prayer is for a known cause and the cure. Thank you for getting my order out so rapidly. May God Bless! Dot
I am THRILLED to find these! I have a son(12) with autism and am always looking for ways to spark conversations about autism! Thanks so much. Darla

I have a son with autism too. Thank you for selling these and spreading the word of awareness. Blessings to you and your family.
I have to say I was in tears while checking out you website. Your buttons are beautiful!!!! The problem now is deciding which ones to order. I was shocked to see a button that stated my child was autistic and didn't speak with emergency information on the back. My husband and I have lost our son in a store on two occasions and once he actually walked out with someone else thinking she was me. I am definitely going to order that button!!! Thank you so much for your website!!! Sincerely, Melissa

i would like to tell you thank you for your well made buttons, magnets, and car magnets. my husband(carl) and i (beth) ordered a bunch of them a while back and i thought i should let you know how much they are making a difference in our lives. our son dylan is autistic and we live in a very small town where autism is not understood very well. these pins have given us the opportunity to expain to people we know and dont know what autism is and what could and should be done about it. i am also thinking about ordering more items from you to hand out at an autism awareness meeting. any new ideas would be greatly appreciated. i am very new on the subject of autism sinse my son is only three and i am always looking for advice on how to get the word out. even our child and family development center is very limited on their knowledge of autism. in closing i would just like to say that it is nice to know that there are parents out their like you working so hard for children like ours. once again thankyou, beth(dylans mom)
Hi Richard, Just wanted to let you know I received the autism awareness items from you. Everything was great. I look forward to ordering from you again. You are doing a great service. I plan on giving buttons to all my co-workers to wear for autism awareness month. My grandson is 3 1/2 years old and was diagnosed when he was about 2 years old. He is making much progress, but still has a ways to go. I feel it is very important for the awareness of this condition so that we can do all we can to improve the treatment these children need. Again, thank you so much for your hard work. Rebecca

Thanks Richard! I purchased a ribbon from you a while back and was so sad to see it stolen yesterday so thought that I would order 4 this time so I had extras. I think I will put a label on the back of these saying "please do not take this ribbon. As the parents of an autistic child we would love to help you spread awareness so leave your name and address under my wiper and I'll send you your own for free. Thanks!!" I'm curious -- do you have trouble with these being stolen??
Richard, Thanks so much for your efforts! I, too, have a son with autism. Our ASA group will make these available at our April 5k run. Thanks for spreading awareness by making these so affordable! Sara

This is a wonderful thing that you are doing. I have found in my experience with having the privilege of teaching children with autism that many people around do not understand them. There more this is exposed and the more people are educated the more people will love these children and understand them. Thank you Jaime

Richard, I guess this is a compliment. Someone stole my ribbon from my van. So I need more. Melinda
Hi Richard! I got the magnets yesterday in perfect condition, thank you. I also want to thank you for what you are doing for these precious gifts from God. My son, Braden, who will be six on April 22 has been diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. When I tell people what he has, many of them respond with "Oh, I'm so sorry, what a burden that must be!" I look at them and say well, no, actually it's a blessing. I have no idea why God gave this beautiful little boy to me, but I thank Him every day for him. Yes, there are struggles but one look into his big blue eyes makes every minute worth it. Having Braden in my life has made me a much stronger person. I'm rambling, but I just wanted to tell you my reason for wanting these ribbons and to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you are doing. The products you offer are an excellent way to raise awareness. I firmly believe that if people are more informed about this disorder, they won't see these kids as "bad kids" or "burdens" but for the gifts they truly are!! Thank you again!! Melayna
My husband and I recently started an autism support group and I love the idea of having some of your products on hand. (I've been asked NUMEROUS times where I got the bumper sticker and magnet on my car...it's just easier for me to buy a whole bunch and then take them to the meetings and get reimbursed there.) Unfortunately, I"ve had three different autism ribbon magnets stolen off of my van, so i"m afraid to put another one on! thanks again! Brigitte
Richard, Thank you very much for your email. I am also the parent of a child with autism. My son is 13 years old, and has aspergers. Richard; I must commend you on the great work you put into the buttons, magnets, etc. My son is 8 years old and was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 2 and 3/4 years old. It has been topsy-turvy at times. I really like the buttons and cards that explain why the Autistic child is behaving the way he/she is. Keep up the great work!! Helen

Hi Richard, I really admire what you do. I am 18 years old and have been working with autistic kids along with other disabled children since i was 13 years old. They are so special to me and have such an impact in my heart. I really appreciate you offering these items so people like me can show our support to this special disorder. thank you Jessica
Sara's Dad The magnetic ribbons arrived today and are already being prominently displayed on my auto as well as those of three friends. My wife and I have been retired for eighteen years and have devoted a major portion of that time to our grandson . We have searched and researched for anything that might be beneficial to him . When he was born in 1984, statistics said that one birth in ten thousand would be austistic . The latest statistics say one in one hundred fifty six . This indicates that this problem is reaching epidemic proportions . Hopefully our politicions will fund the research that is desperatly needed to find the cause and cure for this dreadful thing thay deprives our children from having a normal life . Wishing you and your Sara the very best. John's Grandpa. John
Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful site you have! YOur prices and selections are GREAT! I cant wait to get my order! Britney

We hope that every little thing we can do to make people aware of how autism affects so many lives and is rising so fast in today's generation of children will help to one day find some answers. I wish you and your child and family the best. Thank you and keep on doing what you do..
I have been searching for your type of produces for awhile. We have a wonderful young man who is 15, (James) at our home. He is my youngest child and the icing on my cake. Thank you for using your talent to promote our deep felt cause. We have been through it ALL. James was misdignosed untill he was in 6th grade and when we found his right title. WE was very blessed, because then we could treat the right treatment. We are allso blessed because of the number of children that have the same spectrum are coming out in record numbers in this area. So people are understanding what we are going through and appreciate James that much more. It's no longer that I don't know how to raise my child. I'am thankful he belongs to us. I will be taking orders for my family members that love to tell James' story and spread your address for your wonderful products. Thanks Daisy

I have parent meetings monthly to explain to them that they need to have high expectations for these amazing kids. Hello first off I want to say I too have a child whom suffers from Autism. My 5 year old son Dakota was finally diagnosed after two long and painful years. We saw the "runaround" from everyone but finally discovered the exit we searched for. We too know the agony of others staring and pointing I always said that Autism isn't contagious it's not the Plague! Today, today I found your beautiful and angelic store, thank-you sir from Dakota, Destani (Codey's older sister) and I. You are amongst the angels here on earth...every person living with Autism is truly an angel in my heart and a saint in my mind. Children don't learn from us, we learn from them every single day that we are blessed to see their miraculous strength, indefinite courage and endless amount of love. Thank-you again for your time, from one angel's parent to another.

Hi, Richard! I love your website! I think it's wonderful that I can order Autism Awareness items to show the love & pride I have in my heart for my beautiful daughter, Angelica(Jelly). I've ordered these puzzle car magnets once before from your site, but my loved ones keep stealing them from me to display them on THEIR cars. My oldest daughter has one on her high school locker. Now maybe this time I will be able to keep one for myself. The bright side is that each person who wants one of my magnets is one more person showing their love & awareness for Autism. So, I guess if I have to keep ordering them from you, it is a very beautiful thing! I have also downloaded your free address labels. Please send my love to your family & to your beautiful daughter, Sarah. I will let you know when I receive my magnets & bookmarks. Tina

Dear Richard, I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for distributing these ribbons. My son is 11 years old and has Asbergers. Although he is high functioning, it can be pretty hard to deal with. We ordered 4 of the ribbons and plan to pass them along to others who have an autistic loved one. Awareness is half the battle. Thank you again, Christine

Mr. Bolster - Just a quick note to thank you for your website--my sister discovered it and ordered her magnets from you. I received my order this past saturday, just a couple days after ordering. Thank you so very much! If I need anymore magnets, etc., I know where to go! My son is five and is presently being evaluated at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, to see exactly where is he on the autism spectrum scale. My church just recently had my son's occupational therapist speak to the staff about autism, adhd, add and sensory integration. The church is also realizing autism and special needs kids are on the rise. I continue to try to educate others. God Bless You! Thank you - Christy, Liberty Township, Ohio
HI Richard, You are absolutely Welcome!!! It's my honor to display the Autism Awareness magnet on my car. I'm currently getting my Graduate Degree in Special Education and currently work with two young men with Autism. They are very special in my heart. What excellent people!! I'm a big advocate of people, especially those with disabilities. They all seem to have a very special message to share and are the most honest people I've ever met. I wish you well with your daughter, Sarah. I know and have Faith that she and You will be fine. We will find a cure someday...Soon..... Especially with people like YOU supporting the cause. Thanks. I will most definitely check out the rest of your site. Thank-YOU for having these great magnets....chances are, I'll be back for more. There are a lot of great students and teachers in the program I'm in at RI College who will also be very proud to display the awareness magnets. PEACE, Erin G.

Hi- I am Brendon's mom. He is 11 and has autism and is a terrific kid. I have been trying to find thinkgs to raise awareness since so many people still haven't a clue what I am talking about. When we were pregnant with child #2, some people actually thought we were nuts to bring another kid into the world because he would be autistic too. Well, I have since had two more sons- three total and only my oldest has autism. My second is the most compassionate six year old you could find. He adores his brother and is the first to put people in their place when they try and bad-mouth Brendon. Kelly
HI Richard, Thanks so much for your speedy reply! I am a therapist and I work exclusively with autistic children and adolescence. They have become my life and I am so glad that items are being made available to increase awareness of this disorder. All my prayers and hopes for a happy and successful future rest with you and your daughter. Take care! Jessica

Hey Richard! Happy Autism Awareness Month - I've been giving your website out to everyone I know - Gave some of my pens and bookmarks to kids in Eric's Sunday school class -- I did an autism awareness class for them this weekend so that they could understand how to connect with Eric better. Actually had my autism awareness ribbon STOLEN off my car this week... was soooo not happy - I was glad I still had 3 at home so just came home and put another one on it. Sigh.... Anyway - thought I'd drop ya a line and say hi - Have a great day Elizabeth

Hello, My name is Geri, I'm sixteen and my little brother, Eddy, is nine, turning ten May second. He's autistic. I love him very much, so much that I almost never think about him as "disabeled". I just wanted to say that I respect you for what you're trying to do and I'd like to help in any way possible. I send love to you and your son. Thank-you! from me and all the relatives and friends of autistic people! Geri N. Las Vegas, Nevada
Everyone LOVES the buttons we buy from you... they are our gifts to friends, family, and therapists every year.
Hi Richard, Thanks for shipping my items and as soon as I get them I'll send you and e-mail. I've already saw and have downloaded the labels, I think your doing a nice job to help our children cause and may God bless you of that. I'll keep in touch with you, once again Thank you so much. Blessing to Sarah and your family. Mildred Daniel mom.
Hi Richard Thank you for getting back to me so soon. I too have a son with autism he is 3 years old and we just recently found out .So any information you would have would be a great help. I think it is wonderful that you are getting these things out and making people aware of autism . As I am able I will purchase more items like bumper stickers and such I want to be able to provide a lot of them to family and freinds so you will hear from me again I made your site a favorite of mine. So thanks I will leave you great feedback and God bless you and your family. Thanks Tammy Skadal.....
Hi Richard, Your message and products are great. I have a 6yr old w/Asperger's. Some of these items are for his Special Ed teachers, the rest for my husband and myself. Since it is Autism Awareness month, I have asked my elementary school if I can have a table in the front of the main entrance next week to hand out literature about Autism to parents who drop off their kids. I would love to have these items in time so I can wear them. I'm hoping to bring some awareness to the parents of children who are AHD diagnosed, as you know symptoms are often disguised in one condition and go untreated by those professionals we put so much trust into. We have about 8 autistic children in our elementary school, of about 800 kids. 1 in 100, that's too many for me! I sure do wish there was a solution, cure, remedy for what our children and us as parents have to go thru on a daily basis. I wish you luck with your daughter and with you behind her, she'll be a success! Thank you. I'm sure I'll be back to purchase more once everyone sees these great items! HAVE A BLESSED DAY! Francine
Thanks so much Richard, We have just recently found out that our 3 yr old grandson has Asperger’s Syndrome. My daughter and I have been doing a lot of research. She came across your web site. This has been pretty overwhelming but as we learn more, it’s been easier to handle Alexander. Thanks so much for your commitment, Cindy
Hi Richard! We just found out in March that our 3 yr. old son is autistic. I am checking out all different opportunities for Luke. I am also battling the school on giving him the education that he needs and deserves. The sad thing is that I am going to be consulting a lawyer for help. Never a dull moment. Thanks, Barb
Richard, thank you for the quick reply. We will give the car magnet to my sister-in-law who has TWO autistic children. Again thank you. Stanley
Thank you, I will let you know. I told my sister the things I got from you and she is excited. My niece is autistic and I think she is amazing.
My son Jake, 3 1/2 has autism and I was so happy to see yours and others who have autism awareness items for sale. I was thrilled to find the various items and will keep some of the other things you offer in mind. Any and all correspondence regarding this is greatly appreciated. We have only been dealing with it for a short time and it has been very hard at times, as you are well aware. I also have a 20 month old and 11 week old, so the challenges are even greater. I have found it amazing, how little people know, and how little you are told about this as a new parent. With the increasing numbers of occurrences, you think pediatricians and ob/gyn doctors alike would be warning new parents about signs to look for. I considered myself to be slightly more educated about autism prior to having Jake, as I had done home health care with a child with autism and worked for six years with adults with developmental disabilities and mental retardation, but I didn't know there were such differences in each child that PDD-NOS (which is technically what Jake has) was such a gray area. I was watching for things that just didn't fit Jake exactly. The only thing that clued us into getting him some help was his lack of talking. The other things that we later realized were signs, just didn't register or we found other reasons for them and it wasn't even a matter of justifying his behavior. So, I am happy to say thank you for having your store out there for people to learn more about autism. When I renewed my membership with ASA, they sent a great little booklet explaining autism. I wish I could get a couple thousand of those to put at clinics, etc. along with all the other information doctors have available. Will let you know when stuff arrives. Thanks Kathy
Richard, Thank you for providing these items. My 5 year old neice is a child with autism. I am also a 4th grade teacher in a school with a great autism program and I always have at least one child with autism in my class every year. I plan on wearing the lapel pin to school everyday. I plan on sharing the notepads with my family and using them at school. God Bless you and Sarah. Ellengray, Ashlynn's Aunt
Thanks. I got the stuff today. It looks great. Thank you so much for doing this to increase autism awareness.
HI. My husband took mine, so I need another one! Thanks, Tere (Kati's Mom)
Hi Richard, My niece Bethany has PDD-NOS (pervasive developmental delay), so we have been learning a lot about autism. I do like many of the items that you have. Thanks for the prompt service. Angela
Thanks Richard, and keep up the great work! Ellen
Mr. Bolster, You are welcome! It is my pleasure! I am a autism assitant in the primary level. I have made copies of the flier you sent me, and handed one out to each teacher, assistant and child at our school. My team and I feel very proud when we are wearing your buttons. My own children love wearing them also. God Bless you and your family, Linda
Hello I jsut wanted to thank you for my magnet and pad. I will be back to purchase some more items. I got everything fast and it's all okay. Thanks Johnna

WELCOME TO BEIRUT
(Beginner's Guide to Autism)
"I am often asked to describe the experience of raising a child with autism-to try and help people who have not shared in that unique experience to understand it, to imagine how it would feel. It's like this.."
There you are, happy in your life, one or two little ones at your feet. Life is complete and good. One of the children is a little different than the other but of course, he's like your in-laws, and you did marry into the family. It can't be all that bad. One day someone comes up from behind you and throws a black bag over your head. They start kicking you in the stomach and trying to tear your heart out. You are terrified, kicking and screaming you struggle to get away but there are too many of them, they overpower you and stuff you into a trunk of a car. Bruised and dazed, you don't know where you are. What's going to happen to you? Will you live through this? This is the day you get the diagnosis. "YOUR CHILD HAS AUTISM"!
There you are in Beirut, dropped in the middle of a war. You don't know the language and you don't know what is going on. Bombs are dropping "Life long diagnosis" and "Neurologically impaired".
Bullets whiz by "refrigerator mother" " A good smack is all HE needs to straighten up". Your adrenaline races as the clock ticks away your child's chances for "recovery". You sure as heck didn't sign up for this and want out NOW! God has over estimated your abilities.
Unfortunately, there is no one to send your resignation to. You've done everything right in your life, well you tried, well, you weren't caught too often. Hey! you've never even heard of autism before. You look around and everything looks the same, but different. Your family is the same, your child is the same, but now he has a label and you have a case worker assigned to your family. She'll call you soon. You feel like a lab rat dropped into a maze.
Just as you start to get the first one figured out ( early intervention)
they drop you into a larger more complex one (school).
Never to be out done, there is always the medical intervention maze.
That one is almost never completed.
There is always some new "miracle" drug out there. It helps some kids, will it help yours? You will find some if the greatest folks in the world are doing the same maze you are, maybe on another level but a special-ed maze just the same. Tapping into those folks is a great life line to help you get through the day. This really sucks but hey, there are still good times to be had. WARNING! You do develop and odd sense of humor. Every so often you get hit by a bullet or bomb not enough to kill you, only enough to leave a gaping wound. Your child regresses for no apparent reason, and it feels like a kick in the stomach.
Some bully makes fun of your kid and your heart aches. You're excluded from activities and functions because of your child and you cry. Your other children are embarrassed to be around your disabled child and you sigh. You're insurance company refuses to provide therapies for "chronic, life long conditions" and your blood pressure goes up. Your arm aches from holding onto the phone with yet another bureaucrat or doctor or therapist who holds the power to improve or destroy the quality of your child's life with the stroke of a pen. You're exhausted because your child doesn't sleep.
And yet, hope springs eternal.
Yes there is hope. There ARE new medications. There IS research going on. There are interventions that help. Thank God for all those who fought so hard before you came along. Your child will make progress. When he speaks for the first time, maybe not until he is 8 yrs old, your heart will soar. You will know that you have experienced a miracle and you will rejoice. The smallest improvement will look like a huge leap to you. You will marvel at typical development and realize how amazing it is. You will know sorrow like few others and yet you will know joy above joy. You will meet dirty faced angels on playgrounds who are kind to your child without being told to be. There will be a few nurses and doctors who treat your child with respect and who will show you concern and love like few others. Knowing eyes will meet yours in restaurants and malls, they'll understand, they are living through similar times. For those people you will be forever grateful. Don't get me wrong. This is war and its awful. There are no discharges and when you are gone someone else will have to fight in your place.
But, there are lulls in wars, times when the bullets aren't flying and bombs aren't dropping. Flowers are seen and picked. Life long friendships are forged. You share and odd kinship with people from all walks of life. Good times are had, and because we know how bad the bad times are, the good times are even better. Life is good but your life in never normal again, but hey, what fun is normal.
I got them in on Saturday. They are GREAT!!! Cora
cool website am a parent of austim child and I'll be mailing my order in.
Thanks for your great website. This is the second visit here after ordering some pins for family and friends. My son, now 3, has been diagnosed with PDD-NOS. Every day is a challenge, which I am sure you know. These pins make the statements I wish I could to staring strangers every day. Thanks. Laura
Richard..... aka....Sarah's Dad I have 4 children, I am very blessed. I raise my children to know, WE ARE RICH BECAUSE WE HAVE EACHOTHER!! Thank-you Have a wonderful night!! Rene'..... aka..... Krista's aunt
Thanks. I received the magnet today, it was great doing business with you. God Bless Brandi
Great buttons!! My daughter is going to day camp soon and will be wering them there. :)
I really liked your site, very easy to navigate and find what I was looking for. I got your URL from the lady my youngest daughter nannies for, her oldest son has autism. My oldest daughter also works with autistic children, and has just completed her third year of college, studying to be a teacher that specializes in special education, autism in particular. Given all the statistics she has given me over the last couple of years, I thought it important to display an awareness ribbon on my car, even though neither of my children are autistic. Thanks again, Monica
Thank you! My nephew is autistic. I will put this on my car to help spread the word!
"Have A Nice Sunday Richard" Thankyou for getting these to me quick. You are the best on ebay and a very nice person to buy from. Thankyou so much, Larry
Hey Richard~ That was really fast...thank you so much. =) I work with a few autistic/asperger's children at an elementary school and I love them all because they're so intriguing. Good luck, thanks again, and all my best for Sarah and your family! ~Megan =)

Richard, Thanks so much for offering this site to help promote awareness. Our golf tournament sends the same message. Making people aware of autism and all of its unusual circumstances. I think we are making a difference. Take care, Michael and Ann, (Daniel's parents
Hi there.....My grandson Luke has autism....I know how important it is to spread the word. Thanks Carol, Luke is 7yrs old and is learning to be the best he can be, and even beyond. He is our special gift, and has as large loving suportive family...Thanks again, God Bless you and your daughter....
Hi, Richard. My 6-year old son also has autism. I can feel your pain. Vickie.
My son is only 7 but I work in the field so I think I am more sensitive to it. Thanks again, Richard, you do a great job promoting awareness. Aleece
My good friend and co-worker, Ronnie Ellen, also has a child with autism, hence the reason I am buying her these magnets (she said she couldn't find them anywhere). I specifically bought from you because we have a common goal. Her son, AJ just turned 6. At the age of three, just after a series of shots from the doctor, he stopped saying words, shied away from being touched, and retreated into his own world. Tomorrow, the local Rotary Club is sponsoring a fundraiser to help defray the medical costs of his treatments and therapy. More than 250 tickets were sold at $35.00 each, plus many people sponsored tables for 100 each. My friend and her husband just returned from a weekend in Massachusetts to learn about the SonRise Program. After using the program for a week, AJ spoke his first sentence "I want juice". Although it is only three little words strung together, we are all so proud. AJ is a beautiful child, with haunting eyes; we see him often as his dad brings him to work to visit with his mom. They are lucky that they can work a schedule out so that one parent is always home with him. I wish you the best of luck with your child, and hope one day ALL autistic children can be cured. Thank you for helping spread the word.
Richard, Thank you very much. I have had custody of my granddaughter since she was 2, she is now 18. She was diagnosed in 1991 when the rate was 1 in 10,000 births. I was very happy to find your site and truly applaud your efforts to raise awareness. Marjean, Grandmother of Amber
I love your downloads as do many of the parents and children I have given them to - I think you are doing a great job and I have your website listed in my resource book I have put together for the Macomb/St. Clair Chapter of ASA/MI - My husband leased a new truck and the first thing he said was get me 2 new magnets for my truck - so that I did. Keep up the good word and if you have any business cards please put them in the envelope and I will put them on my resource table at our meetings and seminars. Keep up the good work. Kathleen

I have 4 year old twins with autism. As with you, this is something close to my heart. I have looked at some of the other things you offer and will probably buy more items soon. My son is on a special diet due to multiple food allergies, so the food button I think would be helpful as just the other day we went out to eat and had to bring in food for him. wish I'd had a button for that. Thank you for all of the tools you have created to make the world more aware of our children. I'm sure I will be buying more from you again. Thank you again. Andrea
Thanks Richard. I think its great what you are doing! Mike
Hi Richard - I just had to take a minute to thank you for the incredible job that you did for us for the walk this Saturday. The buttons are wonderful - I could not have asked for better, and the fact that you did them on such sort notice makes them even more special. Thank you for your patience and dedication to our common cause - I am sure we will speak again in the near future. All the best to you and your family - The Gigantes, Monica, Vito, Robert, Joseph & James.
Thank you for offering this. I have a 3 year old son with autism. I support you and encourage you to continue to increase awareness.
Thanks, Richard. I'm a special education teacher in Spencerport, NY. I plan to share the car magnets with my colleagues. I found out about them from a parent of one of my students. Thank you for making these available! --Debbie
I have a 15 yr old son with autism, he is nonverbal and I want to help him so much !!! when he was diagnosed 13 years ago there was not a lot of resources and noone really knew about it so I am very grateful that there is so much autism awareness now and I am very proud to support in any way I can! Thank You and bless your family!
Thank you so much for getting them out in such a timely fashion and for giving me the opportunity to purchase them. Good luck in all of your efforts to promote awareness about Autism. I'm sure there are a number of people who appreciate what you are doing, including me. Thanks again, Melanie
My daughter is a special education teacher working with autistic preschoolers. She is getting married in August and for her shower favors we are giving each guest a bookmark as well as making a donation to NAAR in their names. Autism research is very important to my daughter. Your products are great. My daughter ordered many car magnets last year. That is actually where I learned of your website. Have a very nice summer. God Bless you and your family. Sincerely, Deborah
Good morning Richard: Thank you for the service you are providing for our cherished children. I must say that when I saw your magnet that read "I (heart) someone with autism" it brought tears to my eyes. You will be rewarded many times over. Michelle, Monica's Mom :-)
Hi Richard, Thank you VERY much for the decals and bumper sticker. The more we can educate others on autism, the sooner we can find a cure. Have a great summer! Deborah
Thank you! My Autistic Son is now 14. I wish there was this much awareness when he was diagnosed at age 2!
Thanks - I love these, we go to Walt Disney World quite offten, and my Autistic Son really has a great time. We use lanyards to collect pins, and I have a card attached with our cell phone number and that he's autistic just in case we ever get separated. When I saw these lanyards I thought these were perfect. Kerri
Our two youngest have autims in different ways plus other issues. Our oldest 17 has ADD.Her situation is not to bed but all the kids can benefit from the kit. Safety is a big issue for our youngest, a little for our middle dear daughter. Again thanks so much Richard Migdalia
Thanks for your email. Very interested to know that you are a father of a daughter who is Autistic. My daughter Darby, age 8 is autistic. My son Zacchary, age 11 is Down Syndrome. Dianna

I think this is my third order from you, I purchased some other magnets and the lanyards from you a while back - maybe two or three months. WOW! that was quick. It's great that you are dedicated to this cause. I am not a parent, but I am a therapist for five special kiddos. I am only 21, but I have decided to dedicate my life to raise awareness and doing everything possible for the children. I have been through a lot with all my kids and thier families. They have touched my life and I just want to help others see that these children are a gift. Thank you and bless Sarah:)
Thanks! Drema is my sister in law. My nephew has autism. He will be 3 in June. She was so excited about the magnet! As soon as I showed her I ordered it! Lorie
Thank you so much! I feel exactly as you do! That is why I purchased these great items. : ) I too want the whole world to be aware! It always seems to me that people really have NO clue about this epidemic. Bernadette
God bless you...I have a child with autism, too... -Stephanie :o)
I also have a son with autism. I'm happy to help with awareness. thanks, Karey
From one parent to another we can appreciate all our children do. My son Ray - age 7 years is Autistic and very bright. It was great buying from you. Thanks again. Tammy
My name is Shannon and I have been teaching students on both ends of the Autism spectrum in 3rd-8th grades for the past 6 years. It is great to see parents out there who are advocates -- and not to mention can add interesting items to the lives of teachers like me! Thanks for the great work and I look forward to more information. Sincerely, Shannon
I have an autistic grandson myself, so I bought one for myself, my daughter, and a friend and her daughter, who also has an autistic grandson. Then my son said he would like one for him and one for his wife. I'm glad everyone is becoming aware of this terrible life long affliction that is causing so much devastation to so many families. It's absolutely gut-wrenching! Let's hope someone, somewhere can find out why it's happening. At the rate it's been going, the next generation will have a major problem to deal with. I hope the best! Deb
I am an intervention specialist who works primarily with children with autism. The mood magnet is perfect for helping my students express their feelings. Thank you, Colleen
Keep up the good work and don't sell yourself short! "Just a parent" - anyone can become a parent but you are your child's hero. Sarah is a very blessed child to have you. God bless! Jeanne
Hi Richard: Yes, I too am a parent of a child with autism. My son Andrew, age 11. I am glad that so many people are getting involved in spreading the message now. It hasn't always been that way. Andrew is high functioning, but as any child with this disorder, he can be a challenge. I will keep your site bookmarked and pass it on to others. Thanks, Shari
Hi. I just want to thank you for doing this. I have two children with Autism and I feel so blessed. They are wonderful children. But, we WILL find a reason and a cure some day! Thanks. Joseph
I work for a Autistic community and do a summer camp for 13-23 yr olds. I also work in the residential setting of the facility, it has changed my life and I love it! thanks so much for being the voice of the unspoken and raising awareness for such a great cause! Jennifer
Richard, I received the ribbon and have it on my car already! Thank you for the quick service... I spent some time working with autistic children in our local system. After that, my daughter attended the local autistic preschool as a role model student for the other children. She absolutely loved it!! I have several friends who teach autistic children... Thank you for your wonderful service and for promoting autism awareness!
Hello Richard, I received the Autusm Items yesterday and everything arrived just fine. Thank you so much! I appreciate your service and will keep your site bookmarked in my computer. Thanks again, Christine

Mr. Bolster, We received our buttons and my daughter has proudly worn them around town already! Thank you for your service! We will probably be ordering more soon. Blessings, Staci
Thank you. I received the magnet today. My son has been diagnosed with PDDNOS and has a very difficult time reading faces to understand expressions. When it came today, we sat down and went over a few of them. Hopefully this will help. -holly
Thank you so very much. I received the magnet yesterday and placed it on my car immediately. I have taught children with autism exclusively for the last 9 years and am changing jobs this year. I wanted the magnet so people knew that I was still very interested in autism. It is great and you have a wonderful list of items for sale. Thank you for all you do. Ann Anderson
Richard, I can't thank you enough for what you are doing. you have found a life long customer in me. My daughter is 4 years old, and was diagnosed last july after a 20 month long waiting list. Its a long journey and a lonely one at times. I want to get the message out there also, I just didnt know how, with everything you will provide for me I can finally feel like I have a voice, thank you. Angela
Hello Richard, Thank you so much for your background and your products, I'll pass along your website to others who may be interested as I am the parent of a beautiful autistic son and a special ed. teacher. Thanks again, Kelli
I received the merchandise and it is wonderful. My grandson has autism. My son and daughter-in-law will probably be ordering some things too. Thanks and keep up the good work.
Everything arrived fine, thankyou. I think your web site is wonderful and I'm telling my friends and family about it. Thanks again, Michelle
Thank you also.......you made it alot easier for us to express out feelings, without words , about these special gifts we were given ......I would want Joshua any other way....he's my little angel and I am very proud of him. Thanks again, Casey
Thank you Richard for the speedy service. I guess my message is awareness. Unfortunately my story is like too many others, devastation at news of the diagnosis, a grieving period and now a sense of advocacy and raising awareness. My little guy just turned 3, and he's been in early intervention for 18 months, so in a sense I guess we were "lucky" to have an early diagnosis. Your website is an inspiration. I wish you continued success in getting your story out there and will make sure to point everyone to your website. I love that you are Sarah's Dad first, and everything else is secondary. My best to you and your family, especially Sarah. Regards, Mercedes, (Miichael's Mom)
Richard, Our best to you and your family. It is hard to raise an austic child and I know God has a plan for us all. I have a 3 1/2 year old son that is austic and is non verbal so far. It is the hardest thing I've ever had to do in my life.. Thanks again for raising the awareness level. God Bless The Campbell's
I appreciate what you are doing to help out our kids. Thankyou for being so prompt and creative with your products, I recommend your website to lots of other moms. Sincerely, Erin
Having the magnets has brought awareness because people stop to ask questions. Thanks again, Natalie
Richard, Thank you for letting me know that my items will be mailed, the personal response is wonderful, thank you. My son was diagnosed last year, at the age of 15, with Asperger's Syndrome, I want every one to know that Autism Research is real and very much needed. My son is a wonderful kid with a severe problem with social situations, and hopefully when someone sees the Autism magnet, bumper sticker and bracelet, instead of whispering how "weird" he is, they will educate themselves on why he is "weird". My son maybe "weird" but we love him and do whatever we can to make his life easier and hopefully educating people will make his life easier. Again, Thank you so much. Laura
Hi Richard, Thank you for your response. I have taught autistic children for the last three years. I love to share my knowledge and information about autism. I had a magnet on my car for the last year and someone stole it. I couldn't believe it either. The magnet does what it's suppose to do and makes people ask what is autism so hopefully I am doing a small part to bring awareness. Thanks again Kim Worley
Hi Richard, You sound like a neat Dad. I am Toni...and my son is Jess. He is 12 yrs old and Autistic. I am luckier than some...he is very emotional and loving. Lots of hugs and kisses. He is non verbal...oh about three or four times a years he will blurt out a word. I was lucky enough to hear him say "Mom' a few months ago. He is still working on potty training...and he does some signing...mostly " More Food Please". But he is so smart and fun to be around. I believe when he was a soul in heaven... he chose to come back to Earth with Autism to experience and learn what it is like to be disabled...and I was lucky enough to have been chosen his Mom. Blessings and Good Health to you and Sarah!
Many thanks for all the items sent they will be very useful to try and make the public AWARE of autism, and to help my family deal with 'things' better when we are out and about.William is 7 with autism and his brother is 5 and just wants to do what his brother does! They are like Batman and Robin! always getting each other into trouble! Many thanks again. Regards Jane
Thank you so much for the email- I will let you know when I receive the package. I too have a child with Autism. Dominic is almost three. By wearing the ribbon on my car I feel as if I am letting the world know that I am proud of my child- regardless of his autism. The order I placed with you is actually for some friends of ours. Thanks again and keep getting the message out!! Jennifer
Keep up the good work my friend, these children are treasures...Remi
our autistic son. He's not verbal but he communicates quite well with PECS. He's really bright and imaginative. He's got great problem-solving skills and his social aspects are improving. Doing the best we can, Yolande
Hi Richard, We received our bumper sticker yesterday - thanks very much! My oldest daughter has been wanting one for her car, and it was the perfect little "thank you" for all the help she gives us with our son (her brother). I bookmarked your site for Christmas presents. Thanks again! Vicki
Your doing a great job getting this imformation out on Autism. I personaly know what it is. My Grandson is now 15 years old. It started with him a 2 years old also. He has been in a private school all his life. He has a great talent in music and plays 4 instruments. God Bless
my 2 yr old was resently diagnosed with asd.. as a parent you know the devestation and heartache..but the help and support from people like you make it bearable. Thank you for everything you do. Sarah (Hunter's mommy)
Thank you! My Deana is a jewel. She has been touched and inspired by Timmy's autism and is pursuing a degree in Special Education... which is hard for her because she has a recently diagnosed learning disability (which I feel terrible that I missed, being SO focused on Timmy - but I think that perhaps you can understand!) but she continues to plug away at it. So many people talk about the negative side to the autism puzzle (and there are many) - but one positive side is that it can be an inspiring and motivating experience for people who just need a certain "push" in the right direction! When I gave Deana the bumper sticker, she immediately got off her cell phone (can you appreciate that? - she's 21...!) and went out to put it on her car, but not before grabbing a measuring tape and a level. She said - "It's the most important part of my car - it has to be straight"! Thanks again for your website! Love to Sarah,| Vicki
Thank you the autism awarenss cards came today, perfect timing, the police came this morning because my son had a melt down about going to school while waiting for the bus outside, he screamed help no school help help, it took all my husban'ds power to keep him from hurting himself. On saturday morning i am going door to door in a 2 block radius and hand these cards out and to let the neighbors know to expect this again on tuesday morning. The police will assist me in the future if i need help. Again... Wonderful timing. Thanks so much i will be back for more.. I left you positive feedback, plus thanks for mine.. Have a great laborday weekend. ~sandra
I wanted to thank you for the buttons. I loved them so much. And I wear mine everywhere, and we're spreading awareness with them already. I've had many questions instead of rude staring. My mom received her magnet, and appreciates it very much.
thanks so much . I am raising my autistic grandson , and want the world to know i'm proud of him & I support the cause .
Thanks appreciate the fast response. My parents have been caring for my brother who is now 37 years old 24/7 for his entire life. David is the shining star in all of our lives. He has been through so much since he was a child though his adult years. Medical issues, lack of medical knowledge from physicians, hospitals. When he goes in for what we would consider routine - most doctors says it due to his autism. Its been hell trying to educate people. I need to get more involved and do what I can to assist and make others aware. Well, thanks again, Robert
Richard: Thank you so much for offering these items. My grandson Myles has autism and it has been a long and frustrating road already (he is only 3). Nice to know there are others out there too that have been faced with this struggle... Thanks again, Lynda
What does Sarah see in her world? Does she see wonderful things? My Andrew doesnt talk but he laugh alot and smiles most of the time so I like to think he is happy. Thank you. pattie
Thank you so much! I have a 6 year old son with autism/PDD/Sensory Integration. It's nice to have people like you to keep our spirits up! Thanks & God Bless!
Thank you! This is just a sample I am anxious to show the school where I work. I am sure I will be ordering much more. I am a paraproffesional who has the pleasure of working with Autistic children, and also a neice and twin nephews who were diagonsed with autism. Both my sister and a stepbrother are have a hard time dealing with the the diagnose. I do what I can to help, and even though they know that one in 166 is diagnosed with autism they still feel very much alone. My sister loves when I give her bracelets and such , in support of, so some of the items will be a cheer for her. Good luck to you and your family! PS, Your items are terrific!!!I wanted to order all of them, it was hard to choose! Thanks, Debby
I have worked in group homes and have provide in home respite care for adults and children. For the past 3 years have worked with an awesome young man who has autism. He is 19 and lives at home with his family. I bought the lanyard for his mom at work. She works in a hospital.
Thank you very much for your efforts to teach others about autism. I found your car magnet very touching and appropriate. Thank you and God bless Sarah. I have Joshua, an 11-year old autist. Sincerely, Susan
Dear Richard, I appreciate you and the wonderful communication and I know I will be purchasing many other things from you in the future. My Name is Lisa, and my husband's name is Richard, also. We have a ten year old autistic son named Blake. Blake is number one in both of our lives and we try to support him in any way possible. Blake is what you would call moderately autistic but it is still very challenging, especially with the obsessions, resistance to change, and other OCD behaviors. He is a very kindhearted child and I feel very blessed by that. He does not have violent tendencies and he loves to be loved. He is our life and what we do everything for. I would only change him for his sake, because I love him and the person he is. We are his best friends. How old is Sarah? Do you know where she would live if something happened and you or your wife were not there for her? I lose a lot of sleep over that. He is going to have to live with us the rest of his life and even though I'm 37 and my husband, 39, we both have chronic illnesses that will one day could be fatal for both of us. Richard is diabetic, and I have Lupus in an advanced state that damages all my organs. I have had two deadly infections this year, been in the hospital 5 times in one year, and I have had to get three blood transfusions in the last 8 months. I have no fear of dying but the thought of not knowing what will happen to Blake kills me.. He is the reason I keep putting myself through all of this. Geez...I am sorry to unload on ya like that..I just got out of the hospital again today and it just gets that fear going all over again. I love my child more than my own life but I always feel so helpless and like I am never doing enough..I do not know if you have ever felt that way? I guess I better go now and I will checking out your other items definately. I am glad to see there are people like you out there supporting the cause. Thanks again, Lisa
Hi Richard, I received the lanyards and bumper sticker. My loved one is my niece who was born at 2 lbs 2 oz, so of course we do not know "why" she has autism (Aspberger's) and she, even though my sister has had her to many many physicians over the years, was only diagnosed last year. It has actually been a blessing to know what she goes through and to learn the things we can use to help her get through her days. She is 10 years old, and for the first 9, we did not realize that some clothes actually can "hurt" her skin, that loud noise was to much for her...many things we've learned in the last year. We have even been able to get pictures of her riding the horses once we figure out what was bothering her about them! Life is great. I have been to your website and we are esctatic! We never thought about things like the window sticker warning. Thank you so much for the service you are providing for these kids and adults! Shannon
THANKS Richard.... these are going to be given to Zach's classmates. 5th grade. We are doing a sensitivity training for his 5th grade class and, as you can imagine, many of the questions they had in their survey they did for me were focused around "what causes autism?" "how do you get autism?" etc. While I am answer their questions next week, explaining we really do not know what causes it and confirming none of them will catch it.... I am going to tell them they can help us to find out the cause by walking with our family the following weekend. "Walk Far for NAR."
Thank You so much for having these items. It's a great way to help families get the items we need. My son is autistic and I never know when he will bolt. One message that I think needs shared over and over again is please don't stare. My son had a major meltdown at our mall. People stared and laughed. It was all I could do to not scream please go about your own business he is doing the best he can. Thank You again for all you do. Vanessa, Caleb's Mom
Hi Richard, i recently ordered some items from your website for the school that i work at (the mariposa school for children with autism). we were all very excited to show our pride in our job and help raise awareness about the wonderful children that we work with! Thank you very much! - Amelia
Hey Richard, I just wanted to let you know that I received my order today. I feel that this will be a perfect way to show everyone that we have an autistic child and that we love him and accept him the way he is. We are both very proud of Blake and we want the world to know that. I definately know that we will be doing more business with you in the future. Thank you for your return email. It does make me feel better to know that there are others out there that have the same feelings and concerns that I do when it concerns our children and autism. Thanks again and Sarah is a lucky girl to have such a caring father. Thanks so much, Lisa
I believe in people advocating for this awareness. My mother has been a case manager now for almost ten years. Thanks for the support!! Take care, Susan
thanks so much...these are for a friend who has a grandson with Aspergers Syndrome who never saw the magnets as they don't have them in England
I will definitely be a return customer. Best of luck with your daughter Sarah!
Hello My name is Melissa and I am a parent of a 4 yr old Autistic Daughter. I live in Montréal Québec and I have 2 other children as well. I am always looking for new and interesting ways to raise awareness about AUTISM and I believe that you have a WONDERFUL way of doing so. Melissa

Richard, My name is Nicole Feaster. We live in State College, PA. My daughter Rena' is 4 years old. She was diagnosed with PDD at 20 months. When she goes to sleep tonight, I will come back to your site and place an order. Your buttons are AWESOME! A wonderful idea. The mother (father) of invention... How many times I've thought, "There has to be an easier way..as a meltdown was occurring at our local Walmart, and overheard 'She's such a brat!". I have recently started a new support group called Nittany R.O.A.R. - Reaching Out, Advocating & Responding to the Special Needs Community. I'm excited to provide these to our families! Warm Regards, Nicole, Rena's Mom
Richard, Thank you. my nephew is also autistic. john n
Richard: I wonder when I am looking at the buttons if I am looking at her. I guess, she is non-verbal? My 10 year old son is somewhat, now he talks and it is hard to understand him, but as long as you have paper and a pad, he will write it down, if he knows how to spell it, if he doesn't, watch out - tantrum! He does have a Dynamyte, but prefers writing instead as the years go on. He sure is a tough cookie, as a matter of fact my husband and I are going away on a pleasure/business vacation and I think its good for Genare and I to get away from each other for a few days. In addition to him, I have a son Massimo, age 12 and Michael age 13. I also am a "Para" for an autistic girl in the main stream setting. She is 9 and in 4th grade, we have been together since Kindegarten. Take care and enjoy your trip! Dara
Hi Richard, Thanks for making products that can help us "get the word out". It still amazes me how many people do not understand autism. I am hoping that each & every one of us are making a difference. I am asked all the time where I have purchased my bumper - sticker - I hope that they have purchased one of their own from you! This is actually the third time I have purchased stuff form you! Have a great weekend. Sincerely, Leslie mom of 2 boys with autism
Hi, I work with children with developmental disabilities in Maryhaven in Long Island, New York. I love what I do and have been a devoted advocate for autism. Being a Filipino (but working in the US), my long term goal is to support autistic kids in my country (Philippines) by increasing awareness and creating a help society. This will not be easy as we don't get any help from the government at all. I hope your site (which I bookmarked) and a few others will help me learn more about autism and make me reach my goal. Thank you and God bless, Brian
Thanks so much Richard! I'm walking for the National Alliance for Autism Research Walk (NAAR) on Long Island , NYon Sunday and will share them for all of those walking on my team. I have triplets and my daughter, Sara Nicole is autistic. Thank you for your wonderful buttons! Everyone will see them! Lisa
I am a Professor of Nursing at Suffolk County Community College and am constantly raising autism awareness among registered nurses who are on the front line to early detection and intervention. I will remain in contact with you and perhaps order more in May for my next nursing class graduation for May 2006! I predict to have a graduating class of 120, it would look so wonderful on their white uniforms and stand for something so significant for the future of our generations to come! Thank you for your services!
thank you for such a great product-God bless you and your family

Thank you Sarah's dad! the public autism awareness cards that I purchased a while back have been a tremendous help. My son carries some with him in his pocket to school, and just about everywhere. They help him feel important. Thanks again. My Dad swiped the pen for at work. He is a psychology professor at UWS, so autism awareness is made known at the university now amongst his colleagues. ~Sandra
I am a mom of 5.....age 11, 9, 7, 5 and 4 (9 and 7 year olds have forms of autism....Aspergers syndrome and PDD) Mary
Hi Richard, The walk was wonderful today, everyone loved the buttons! I will keep in touch! Lisa
Richard, My brother Luke is Autistic, I wish more people had a clear understanding of what Autism really is. People fear the unknown, so if more people were educated then maybe they would be more accepting. I want people to look at Luke as a normal kid. He's funny, outgoing and fun to be around. But people don't see that. I appreciate what you are doing and I hope more people gain an understanding of Autism instead of being afraid of it. Thank you, Lauren
Thank you for placing these items on EBAY! The DNA kit will be a great comfort to me and to the family that I am buying some for. I have recently adopted a 2 y/o with Autism. He is a great addition to my family. I also have 2 4 y/o with Down Syndrome, so needless to say these kits will be a great comfort. Thank you for making them affordable. Jill
Keep up the good work. Thanks Rene

Hi Richard, I'm really looking forward to receiving these items. Autism is new for us....our son Alex......his safety and awareness to others is so important. His twin sister Aryanna is just fine....but his younger sister Zoe may also be autistic as well. We have six children total, and feel so blessed to have each of them...Our Oldest son Tony who is 19 is over in Iraq (Army).....Zoe our youngest is 2 1/2. Thank you for the added items...I will email you when the package arrives. Best wishes to you and your family. Jaymi
Thank You for the quick response and all the Autism items. I am glad to see that there are so many Autism supporters around. I, myself, struggle in college while having Autism. I have worked to advocate for children with Autism because I have walked in their shoes. I have been the Secretary of "Indiana Autism SERTOMA Club" as well as one of the Charter Members of that club, Camp Counselor of "Camp Awareness" for Autism, and I am always on the forefront of bridging the gap between my (the Autism) world and yours (the Nero-typical World). I only hope great things for you and your family, especially with the struggles that you will en-dour from day to day. The road ahead is not easy, but it is definitely the road less traveled. In cases like this, the road less traveled is the best road. Even though the down-falls are harder, the strides are going to be much more sweeter. All I can say is: "Keep hope. Your Daughter looks up to her parents. You and your wife. Even if she loses one of you (God-forbid), the images that she has seen and what she encounters from the remaining parent, will be important for her development. Sorry if I went off there on a tangent, but I just wanted to give you a little bit of what I have experienced and how struggles can produce great results. Attached is one of my camper's article that she wrote in mid-summer 2004. I thought you might enjoy reading it. Please pass this along to who you'd like as long as you keep the author. Joseph
Hello Richard Thanks so much for the speedy transaction. Also, I can't express enough appreciation for you making these items available. I will definitely be at your store quite often and at the same time work on spreading the awareness! Take Care and Have a Great Week! Joyce (Annamae's Mom)

Hi Richard, I've been looking for an Autism ribbon magnet for a while now, I'm glad I found you! My 8-year-old daughter, Brittany, has Asperger's Syndrome, which I'm sure you know, is a high-functioning cousin to Autism. She is very verbal (too much it seems at times!) to the point where everything must be described in the greatest detail possible. Our main difficulties with her challenges are her perfectionism and her screaming outbursts when she is having trouble with something. I, myself, am not a perfectionist, so it is difficult for me to understand, but I'm working on it! Anyhow, thanks again, and I look forward to checking out your site! Sincerely, Kimberly
